I have an idea for a new story, but I dont know if it's gonna work. The story is set in the near future. The main character is Maya Darkhart. She is a thief and she just escaped the clutches of the evil emperor, Halin. She runs away with the amulet. Too normal people, it's just an amulet. But too Maya, Halin, and a few others, it's a map giving an exact location to an ancient city containing advanced weaponry and powerful knowledge. (kind of like Atlantis, but above ground) Anyway, Maya escapes to a nearby village where the other hero, Rayn, is busy trying to do his daily chores. Maya asks for shelter, buit Rayn denies her. Soldiers come looking for her and he tells them the wrong things. He goes off to gather firewood or a meal (still working on that one) He returns and finds his village destroyed. He goes to find Maya and they team up to find the ancient city. They go on many adventures, including a run-in with a group of werewolves, who are part of Maya's clan. The truth is, she's a werewolf and she's the daughter of the alpha male and female.
