So, opinions? Looks good or bad? Is Gaia trying too hard, or is it great way to reach out to fans?

gaia's trying too hard. it looks more like scales, i think. i mean, sure it would be cool to have a sparkly avi, buuuuut....that doesn't look great.

I agree. I guess the idea behind it was that since Edward was so cold, he was icy... hence the mostly blue shade. I think it'd be harder to put a prismatic color on Gaian skin.

It kind of irritated me how instead of regular vampires burning in the sun, Mrs. Meyer decided to make them SPARKLE!

Yeah it's kind of weird, but I guess she wanted something different than the norm? It kinda makes sense.

Edward's dead and cold like ice/crystal
Crystals sparkle in the sun
Therefore Edward sparkles in the sun.

Something ike that logic.
