ok, just got done reading a very interesting conversation in one of the subforums and there is this word I keep seeing and do not know the meaning of. what exactly is twoofing? oh, and this isn't a question but if anyone is near where I live, I will be willing to donate. I live in Elizabethtown Pennsylvania. (u.s.)

Twoofing is basically when a vampire has had a feed in a while, and needs one so bad that they become mildly.... irritable, angry, uneasy, jumpy, and they begin to need a donation or a leeching more than usual. Its sort of similar to an addict who hasn't used in a while, but still quite different from that. It does wear off after a while (feeding helps it go away fast) and is usually triggered by something in the environment. For example, a person who is bleeding enough that the smell and/or sight of the blood hits the vamp in such a way that it triggers a jittery feeling and urge to go have a taste. The twoof is different from person to person and from one type of vampire to another.

serris94 oh, ok. sounds like it would suck Yeah, it does. Lucky for me though, i don't twoof much. The last time it really happened, my mates were playing a game of quarters (the one where you fling quarters at your opponents knuckles unitl one loses too much skin or is in too much pain) and they got plenty of blood out onto the table around them and the scent kinda overloaded me. It sucked, but i pulled through.

every now and again i get little cravings for blood but I think thats just a feline thing...it makes me a little antsy when i dont get any though

blood does taste yummy...mmm yesterday was one of my days when i was craving blood...i didn't get any and became very irritable. though i only do tastes, not drinks.

Really, thats all we get too. A table spoon, maybe a shotglass at most, of blood at a time. thats good for a month or too for most.

it would be amazing to meet a real vampire face to face...but i would probably be mean and cut myself "accidentally" while in their presence. though if it really bugged them and they needed blood right then, i wouldn't mind donating
