Everyone always talks about Writer's Block, a phenomenon known to all writers. Well, I have another term for it: being lazy. If you really want to write, just WRITE! Inspiration comes from everywhere, anywhere! You just have to be willing to MAKE it into something. Perseverance is the key to any great piece of work. Maybe it won't be the masterpiece you want it to be, but at least you'd be trying! Nothing can become something overnight; you have to work at it, just like you have to work for your allowance or your paycheck. Nothing comes free.

This is true, though a great way to get some really good inspiration is to go and see a great movie! The combination of music and action always sets me thinking.

hmm. That is true, sometimes when I'm lazy I just say I have writer's block, but when I want to write something and have no idea what to write about, with just a glance you can get an idea, or listen to music and write a story about your point of view of the song.

What I'm saying is, people are always complaining that they can't think of anything but, if they truly wanted to write, they could write about anything. Yes, inspiration is important, but your dedication to writing exceeds even that and you can make something out of nothing! Writer's block, in other words, doesn't exist. People are just to lazy to try and work with what they are given, hoping something better will come along soon.

People are just too lazy to try and work with what they are given, hoping something better will come along soon. I disagree. I've read many stories where people clearly didn't have much inspiration. True, you can always make something out nothing, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's good. And, in my opinion, if it's not very good or just down right crappy, it's not worth posting.
