i have heard that his is a very generous person. when his daughter was sick he went up to the hospital in his jack costume to read to the children and stuff like that. so i would assume he is a good person in real life.

Yes he's really nice. He gave a waiter a 4,000 dollar tip bcuz a party he had kept the waiter working until 2 am. Sorry, have to edit this post. Johnny Depp is perhaps the nicest celebrity in the world. I have heard this several times, he is humble, and takes time for his fans.
