The Ocean, an Aquas Domain!

Deep beneath the waves, lies a coral reef. A rainbow of colors, speckled with white and blue, is home to the aquatic wolves of Earth. While the ocean is a free zone for these wolves to wander, their home base is well protected by the Alphas, and this is a sanctuary for all sea life, but especially the Aquas Wolves. Large holes in the coral are quite obvious, as wolves flit about them, in and out, swimming with their legs tucked in and splashing with their powerful tails to swim.
The Aquas are normally a peaceful species, but when war strikes, their some of the best warriors around. The Aquas have learned to use weapons to their disposal and have tamed sea beasts to set on their enemies.
Aquas diet is simple: Fish, Octopus and Squid, and pretty much any other sea creatures. They hunt by blending in with their surroundings and stalking prey (A wolf trait they never forgot) And swim at high speed for a chase.
A Aquas' anatomy is simple, a wolf that lost its furry tail and grew a finned one. It gained some more fins, and gills, and it's ready to go. While they go have gills that are hidden under stiff fur, they can breathe air, and dwell on land for short periods of time. They often go ashore to sunbathe and relax. Using its finned tail, and Aquas can swim at speeds of 40 MPH, with great maneuverability, able to turn on a dime.

Seascape

Deep under the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, lies a coral reef known as Atlantis. While it's not a human city, its the capitol of Aquas wolf packs. It sits in a reef filled with color, from coral to fish to anemones, it shines the colors of the rainbow.
The reef has as much life as half that of the entire rainforest, and is abundant in fish, octopi, and sharks, all of which Aquas like to eat. Manta rays glide through the reef, followed by schools of small baitfish. Even some whales find it worthwhile to stop and rest at Atlantis.
At night, Atlantis goes to sleep, besides the white-tip reef sharks, who hunt at night. These sharks know better than to wander into a Aquas home, or even worse, bite one, or they'll be a midnight snack.
Atlantis is warm, the water maintains a steady temperature of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. But in summer it's raked by hurricanes, which damage the reef greatly, the wrath of Poseidon running amok. However, with his mate Amphitrite, life is restored.

Name: Poseidon
Story/Bio: Poseidon has always claimed the sea as his domain, and gets quite frustrated when creatures that don't belong take advantage of it. He is responsible for many of the "Kracken" attacks, and even more sunken ships thanks to storms he created. He is the reason for the yearly hurricanes affecting the reef, and his dolphin familiar Delphin serves him well.
Personality: Poseidon is stoic, moody, and violent. Some times he is kind to sea travelers, and others he rips toe shreds, used as food and fodder for the creatures within his waters. He is bossy, and has power to back it up. He likes to womanize, only because he can, but is still mated to Amphitrite. You might say he's anywhere from bipolar to menopausal, but I wouldn't let him hear you say that.
































Name: Amphitrite
Story/Bio: Amphitrite is the goddess of sea life and was responsible for its creation. Her parents were Nereus and Doris. She also has a sister named Thetis. Most of the time she does not associate with them and works hard to make sure the pack is kept under control.
Personality: She is calm for the most part, but can snap if provoked. Moody and unpredictable. Pretty much like the sea she helps take care of, she is still the kindness to Poseidon's cruelty, though she can become quite jealous of his constant flirting.

Short wolf story:Kaido was a wandering aqua. Normally he didn't get too close to others, but after meeting some friendly aquas like Suijin and Hideki he loosened up a bit and realized that he wanted to be part of the pack they were. Even if his tasks were minor and almost relative to nothing, he wants to help the pack as best as he can as repayment for their kindness. He might seem buff and uncaring at first, but if you can get underneath that you'll soon realize he's a loyal friend and pack member worth keeping.

Any additional details you'd like displayedt:Kaido actually has a scar on the other side of his face due to a brawl with another lone aqua for trespassing into his territory. So he has vast fighting experience with other creatures.
