If it is not to much trouble I would like people involved in the guild to post any ideas for subforums that we don't have yet. So get thinking and tell me what you come up with!

I am part of two other guilds: a writer's guild and a multi-interest guild. Since you are a writer's guild I would suggest taking your original writing subforum (the one with stories) and dividing it up into several subforums: short stories and novels and 'spurts of ideas'. (The spurts of ideas is for anyone who just had a thought and wrote it down. Then others can take that and tell the person if it's a good piece to work off of, give them helpful ideas, etc.) Poems tend to get popular fast. I'd split that up into a "people poems" and "feeling poems" sort of thing. Poetry tends to revolve around a certain emotion, or pretain to a certain person. (It's a complicated idea.) You don't really need to expand at the moment, anyway. That's all I have to offer. Hope it helped...

Although it is a writing guild, I suggest a roleplaying forum. That way, we get people who actually know HOW to write. To me, roleplaying is like writing a book with multiple people involved, and each tells the story from a different point of view. It could work.

Maybe have subforums about what the writing is about, if it's your opinion or a feeling, fantasy, etc. And I do think the "spurt of ideas" it's a good suggestion since everybody has those and then don't know if it's a good one.

I agree about the RP subforum. They're lots of fun and it will keep those involved checking up on the guild.

I suggest something from the other guild, Live events. It is pretty useful to get to know other players as well as other uses, I also think that a games forum be added for word games, lyrical games, and so forth.

I see you don't have a subforum for lyrics;you should put one up. Just a thought.

I like the idea of a subforum for random ideas. It really helps me to have people ask questions about my outlines and the like before I start writing, because then I have to answer the things my readers will want to know.
I would also suggest a subforum for writing chats, where people can ask questions about the publishing world, the techniques others use in writing, ways to get over writer's block, etc. Unless that's what this main forum is for, of course.

Perhaps a Mythology sub-forum? This would be a place where people could post the legends they've heard or read in thier lives. I love reading them, and they are interesting to research.
