Daichi followed Nathaniel and Madoka to room 38. His eyes sparkled at the thought of having his very own room all to himself!!!

Nathaniel didn't speak too much on the walk from the park to the dorms, but he laughed lightly at Daichi's expression. "You seem so excited..." he started, smiling at the younger boy.

Nathaniel laughed again, this kid was cute, like his sisters. Reaching over he ruffled Daichi's highlighter hair. "You have brothers and sisters?" he asked. Why else would he share a room for otherwise?

Nathaniel made a brotherly smile and let his hand drop. "I've got sisters too. Five of them, I'm the oldest." he told him.

Madoka smiled as the two unique-haired boys talked about sisters. He himself had one little sister, but he hardly ever talked to her anymore. Besides her, he had an older brother as well, but he was much older and moved out of the house when Madoka was only eight. He hadn't seen him since Golden Week, at least a decade earlier.

Nathaniel bit his lip lightly. "I get treated differently than my sisters do..." he said, his voice soft and falsely happy. He was adopted, and his family life took a complete turn for the worst when his parents finally confirmed the suspicions of the three oldest of his sisters. It always was a sore spot for him.

Madoka stayed silent. He could tell that Nathaniel didn't like to talk about that... he wrapped his arm around Nathaniel's shoulders and pulled him close.

Nathaiel jumped a bit, and shook his head, trying to push the subject of his family out of his head. Smiling, leaned against Madoka, feeling comforted by his warmth. "Okay, we'll leave you to your room. If you ever need anything, just come see me." he told him sincerly.

Madoka smiled warmly. "And you can find me in the history room," he said. "I'll be seeing you in class, soon enough." He rubbed Nathaniel's back lightly, then combed his hair a little, all of this nonchalant, so even if Daichi was capable of noticing, it'd be hard to catch.

"Thank you very much!" he said cheerfully. Surely Daichi was curious as to why the two men were so close, he probably thought they were just really good friends. Or perhaps he thought Madoka was secretly a woman, who really knew what was going through this insanely simple minded child's head? But he just smiled and waved as they walked away.
