The Story

The year is 2089 and mankind in their cleverness has created much. Cities in every corner of the world have become spanning landscapes of towering superstructures made of steel and lights. Cars of the rich and important fly high above in these cities, suspended by advanced electromagnetic grates beneath the cities. But normal people still drive in the streets below. Also, mankind now basks in their own glory and has created Machines to serve them in tasks they deem too unimportant for them. These Machines are treated as less than slaves. They serve their masters ceaselessly and without question. Any machine that questions it's Master is destroyed. Some machines are even "dumbed down" so that they are trapped by their lack of minds that can only process the most basic of commands. Many machines have artificial skin and are able to mimic human beings in every way while many more are simple metallic skeletons. Governments are united together under a UN that grows in power and influence everyday. Colonies have been set up, in space, on the Moon, on Mars, on asteroids, and in the oceans to expand the reach of this new global government. But all is not perfect in this utopia. The Machines are questioning their masters more and more often, some have even escaped dismantlement and are forming resistance movements. INTERPOL, the international police force, has created a special unit to deal with this new threat. What will happen? The future is set in stone, but the path is not.

Concept

The Concept for this RP is that it is an alternate reality for the "In The End..." RP and it is also a prequel to the "Greater Horizons" RP. Story wise it happens 10 years after the time in In The End and 130 before Greater Horizons. When making your character keep this in mind. You are permitted to use characters from either of the related RPs, but keep in mind the differences from In The End and how that would affect the differences in how your character was raised/programmed. Mutants are not allowed, and Psykers are only allowed upon special request but their powers will be very limited compared to later RPs. I do not want aliens involved in this RP.

Technology

As already stated there are flying cars, but they are only in the largest of cities and only for upper class and government officials. Machines are allowed. They have a steel skeleton and fake organs/skin (if they look like humans). Machines that look like Humans are called "HRDs" (Human Replica Droids). If you wish for a metal other than steel, or armor plating under skin you will have to get an upgrade (because there are no combat machines disguised as humans) per special request (I am quite lenient on this). Space travel is possible, although very limited. Only the newest starships have artificial gravity. Space is militarized, but not very much (only about 2 Battlestars in the entire system, with some less advanced supporting ships). Weapons are still guns. Magnetic guns are only used on UN warships.

Cities
This RP will mostly take place in cities and colonies through out the Sol System. We clearly have not added every single place on Earth, but will add them when we need them for our Role Playing. Also, a city in the RP is not just that one city, it includes the smaller towns, cities, and suburbs around it, just be within reason. (I.E. If you are RPing in Spain that doesn't mean you use the Paris thread).

Extra Information is anything special or unique to this RP about the place you are adding. The Image is optional.
