.TOON NEWS. Hear ye, hear ye! Welcome to the Toon News! This is the thread that keeps you updated when you don't know what's going on or simply want to look at the new projects and events of the wonderful alley. Feedback is always appreciated but don't stray from the topic at hand otherwise the news thread will become clogged and unusable. No one wants that, right?

First thing's first. We're planning a big comeback and so if you know anyone at all you want to join us, please ask one of us and we'll send invites! We want more people at the alley so any recommendations or invitations are heartily welcomed!
The second and more important thing is this -- we've got a new event! Just like in my old guild, Nintendo's Critters, we're going to be making a new Pokemon League! With me and Queenie as gym leaders, we'll need six more candidates to be gym leaders! If anyone plays Pokemon and wants to fight against others, we'd be glad to have you! If we can't get six, we'll settle for two more for a sort of elite four.
And thirdly and less importantly... do you think our news thread should have a better name? Like a... Toon Alley newspaper name! If you've got any recommendations, shout it out!

um, this gym leader thing, is it based on type, 'caus im currently training up a team of ROCK TYPES :O, and i could be a rock gym leader?

and he's nice
but i cant think of any newsey names...

This gym leader thing could actually work really well biggrin
my friend who i mentioned above (teh rainbow fish) has made a great grass team (he cosplayed as Gardinia at the London mcm expo).
We need more active members though!
Oh! at the bottom of our member cards we should have What gym we are, and badges of the gym leaders we've beaten! (but we should be allowed to use different teams to out gym leader teams otherwis we'd all get owned by certain leaders XD

And yeah, it is based on type. I've claimed poison and Queenie's probably going to go for psychic. So rock and fire fit in perfectly! Glad to have you both onboard for our gym idea!

I'm trying to find more members so here's hoping. :]
We'll think of a newsey name sometime anyway.

Aw, well I meant to use wi-fi to scale up Pokemon. That way, it's fair.
Sorry I haven't been around guys - Queenie and Kam's birthday just came up and I'm still trying to make the big banner and calender for the front page and guild use. D:
