Ok, so, anyone who has watched Marc Crilley's YouTube videos on how to draw manga know what I'm talking about. Dixon Ticonderogas are a top of the line #2 pencil. For a while, I thought it was just MC's personal preference, then I bought a pack. They do cost a bit more that other #2s, but they are worth it! The lead is was better quality, so they shade much better and don't break as easily.

I'll have to see if I can get a pack.

Huh. I really don't pay attention to the pencils that I'm buying.
(I usually buy lead/mechanical pencils at my local stationary store).

I think I might check it out...
Though I don't know if I can find them...
(has no local art store)

I've never used them. But then again, I usually draw everything (or atleast the base) in 2H pencil. (which is harder/lighter then HB aka #2) I dunno. If Ticonderoga starts producing 2h's I'll check them out xD
Till then, I'll stick to my Derwents. Which I use for everything xD

It's sort of depressing as it seems as though I'm the only person who doesn't have a preference to what type of pencil I'm using. I almost always use a mechanical pencil or pen nowadays...

For the most part I don't either. I normally use my .5 mechanical.
