»If you're gonna host a contest make sure you keep it updated and actually hand out the prizes! Don't just start one up and run, it's annoying, rude and there will likely be severe punishment
»Try and have an end date/requirement (e.g. no. of entries) No-one likes a contest that no-one wins becasue it never ends!
»Try and be original - it's nice to see new ideas for contests out there, twenty of the same type can be a bit boring
» Once a contest is finished change the title so I know it's over and I'll leave it for a week (so people know who's won) before moving it to the graveyard
