Funimation are currently conducting a poll of what anime should they license next. One of those options, along with some other very good titles, just happens to be Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
SZS has been starting to gain popularity recently. Does this mean it may have a chance of coming to the US? (Well, I live in the UK, so I'd have to import it, since the BBFC would probably edit everything out. They dislike hanging scenes...)

Also, if Funimation do decide to license it, are they the right company? Or should someone else do it?
So it looks like McFly aren't as eye-sore-ish as my previous post formats, hurrah for being a rabid fangirl

I think Funimation did a nice job on FMA.
I will lose all hope in anime if America ******** up SZS.

If they make SZS in America i will only watch it with subs. i've gotten to acusumed to the japanese voices..... i'd hate for them to butcher them with english dubs.

English? Hopefully they won't destroy the voices......they ruined Cardcaptor Sakura with the voices....

Assuming the voices don't annoy the hell out of me, I'm fine with whatever. The problem is the jokes in Japanese being translated and retaining their comedy value.

Yeaaaahhh, I think if it gets translated that it will lose a lot of the comedy. Especially when certain jokes are made from how a word sounds in Japanese. Translating that into English isn't funny.
I don't know. I'm one of those ~elite brats~ who don't watch dubs. So either way, my opinion doesn't really matter lol

I might have to get this if I watch it with friends, because they don't understand Japanese. When I watch anime, I hate seeing subtitles so I just get RAWs, but I can never watch things with friends so...I hope they do a good job.
