Just as I said in the original posting, We are going to be organizing a roleplaying event within our guild, where members will be striving against evil that threatens not only Gaia, but our very own specific membership.
More details to come as I work them out with Dami, she and I are going to work out what kinds of things we will encourage to help, and I will be writing chapters of story for you to read to get caught up on what's going on.
If you have any suggestions for the event, go ahead and use this thread!
For now, let me give you an idea of what we're going after.

"Your time... is over."
Words, words echoing through my head. I picked myself up off the ground, stuck between an alleyway and a headache. Where I previously was I couldn't say - seemed like hell. Darkness all around me, my eyes failing to pierce through them, even though I knew I could see in the darkest of nights without fail. It was as if this very area was darkness itself. A being had approached me, formless, shapeless, pure shadowy energy. One of its tendrils, oh so many tendrils about it, latched onto my arm and pulled me into the air.
"So, you are the one called Ashodin." Its voice was like gravel on chalkboard. "You and your pathetic guild are all that stands in our way to take over Gaia. We, the chaos, the force that governs all randomness, do not know how you formed so quickly, and we will not let you join forces with the shadows that defy us." It threw me back onto the ground, or what I thought was the ground. Words escaped my throat like air escaping a tightly-sealed bottle. "We'll build members! Our guild will grow strong, then, then you'll be stopped!" I tried to conjure a ball of light energy, but the sheer darkness about me was drowning my powers. The shadowy essence seemed to laugh, or what I thought was a laugh.
"No, puny Gaian. Your time may have just begun, but know this: Your time... is over." As he said it, my eyes blinked for a second, and then I felt a force push me back aggressively, and I fell to the ground. This time, it was for real, as I was back in Barton Town. Kneeling over me was Damieri, her features as radiant as ever, shadowy lines suffusing her essence. "You know you can't survive that long in the shadows, my love." I looked up at her, words ringing in my ears, purpose filling my thoughts. "Lover, we've got a problem."
"And the whole Guild's going to want to know."
