I was at Physical therapy on Monday and had an interesting experience.
The place I go is where the Army sends most of its injured soldiers, so you run into a variety of soldiers and dependents.
So, since everyone wears civilians you can't tell when you are talking to lower enlisted or an officer. So everyone jokes with everyone.
There was someone there with a knee injury, at the end of his session, they had him walk backwards, walks off some of the fluid that builds up around the knee. 9enough of the technical stuff)
Anyways, as he had to get up to do this, I ask "Hey, can I laugh if you fall?"
Him: "Your husband is in the Army right?
Me: "Yes"
Him: "What's his rank?"
Me "Corporal, Infantry"
Him: "Go a head and laugh, I love giving out Article 15s like candy"
Me: (thinking) "Ok, I'm shutting my mouth now"
a few minutes later
Him: "Don't worry, I'm only a Lt. Gen."
I knew he was a Dr. but didn't realize his rank...
I just told him it's ok, everyone laughs at me when I accidentally drop the ball and get hit in the chest.
And that is the story of Exotic and the Lt. Gen. It was much funnier if you were there.

We were all just joking around.
I'm used to seeing various officers/other people.
I mean, my physical therapist is an ex- air force pilot.
