The only way to get to B8 Floor, is to blow out all the torches on B7 Floor at one time, and then the floor will collapse, letting the adventurers on B7 Floor, fall to B8 Floor.
On B8 Floor, the floor is bright, and not an ounce of shadow seems to be in the floor. The walls, the floor, is all white marble, naturally shiny. And of course, booby-trapped, to avoid thieves from breaking it down, and stealing the marble. The marble is extremely hard, meaning the walls, floor, and ceiling, are all very hard.

Grex casually walked through the area, not showing much concern for anything until he came upon a rather familiar formation of crystals. The colors varied but they all occasionally went black for a few seconds. "Did you place the the beacon?" Suddenly echoed a malevolent voice. Grex bared his teeth in a devilish grin.
"Good. Now I can have a easier time finding him later..." Zetun uttered. "Maybe now Master William will be pleased."
"Finally living up to my expectations, are you, Zetun?" Then boomed a most familiar voice.
Zetun quickly turned around to look behind him, watching his master appear out of a pool of darkness. William had finally returned...
"Master William! I didn't expect you to be back until..." Zetun started only to be cutt off.
"Silence. I want you to set up the rest of the area. As for Grex, I'll simply have him do as he wishes tomorrow. We'll need to make sure that Ian and those fools know I've returned, and we intend to finish what we've started." William ordered. He seemed less human, and all business.
"We have a visitor....." Zehk hissed as he quickly entered the area, scuttling across the cieling.
"Who exactly is it?" William questioned, already curious. He had one person in mind, but he also thought against it.
"The Merrigan boy...."
Just from hearing that, William cracked a devilish grin. "I'll give him a proper greeting then, since he decided to drop by so early..." he itterated before sinking back into the floor, leaving behind a small pool of shadow that quickly faded after he left.

Grex sat down, looking impatient as ever. "Damn it... I want to kick that kid's a**..." he growled and then looked up at William, who was sitting in a throne made of crystal, and seemed to be giving him a nonchalant look.
"You'll get your turn today, pal, just wait." he chuckled and then looked to Meleos, Zehk and Zetun, just finishing up their recent task of re-establishing William's hideout.
Suddenly, Zehk seemed to perk up, sniff the air a bit, and bare his teeth. "We've got others..." he seethed.
"Meleos, go check it out. You know what to do..." William ordered, fooling with a glob of shadow in his hand. That Catanul blade did a good job of enhancing his powers, all while draining Ian's. Though with such a powerful enemy, William was sure he wouldn't stay down for long.
Meleos grinned and quickly faded away, using his power to become invisible and went off to investigate.

Soon enough, William could sense Ian was back up and rarin to go. He grined tio himself. So, the force gauntlets are gone. Good, one step has been completed. "Grex, Zetun."
"Yes, Master William?" Zetun immediately replied, kneeling to William.
"What?" Grex questioned, being disrespectful as usual.
"I want you to do a patrol for me, just to make sure noone gets too close. Meleos has yet to ret-"
"We've got more..." Zehk hissed once more, sniffing the air just a tad.
William looked to Zehk,and then to Zetun."On second though, Grex can go to the surface and look for Ian and give him a test run on how he is without the force gauntlets, Zetun, find whoever's coming and block them off. " he then ordered,
Without anything said, both Zetun and Grex hurried off, just as Meleos reappeared. "They're jussssst a couple of sssstudentssss. No threat, but I ssssugesssst we ssssscare them off with ssssomething."

William rose back up through the floor with Raine, and once they were fully back on thier feet, he let go of Raine's hand and walked off for a moment, coming to one of the many crystal pillars scattered around ever since he came back. He lightly touched it for a moment and the pillar began to glow a hue of different colors,and then went pure black. "Come over to this one." he then called out to Raine, turning to face her.

Raine looked around. Strange...she nodded to William as the crystals faded to a black color, and headed over to where he was standing to look at the crystal. "What is this?" She asked, staring at it.

"One of my many instruments... I created them. Though, with that power alone, only I can use the properly." William answered, turning his attention back to the crystal pillar. "This pillar in particular is my experiment." he added, and placed his hand on it once again. "Go ahead, place your hand on mine." He then told Raine. "If I did this correctly, it should let me have a better look inside you, and what's in you. Maybe then we can get somewhere..."

Raine frowned for a moment. If kestrel were active and awake at the moment likely he would be all over the place about this. Though letting William try to see him would ruse him as well. Well...I Guess I don't have much else to lose, right? She nodded a bit and placed her hand over William and braced herself for whatever weirdness would ensue. Already she could feel a bit of a burst of energy from Kestrel.

William slowly closed his eyes and tried to concentrate. Secionds passed, and things seemed calm until William grunted randomly and started to grimace and even tense up. Moments later of silence, William's eyes shot open and he pulled his hand back from the pillar, breaking the connection.
He had seen a lot of things, especially it. Wiliam looked a bit shaken up, and was even panting. "Not bad, first try, but not bad." he commented, and then looked to Raine, seeming to smile. "So you've got that thing inside you, eh? He's a pretty nasty fella, real fiesty too." he then told her. He meant to say that he had actually used the pillar to delve into her. Memories, thoughts, her soul... and even into Kestrel a bit, though, Kestrel rejected him, hence the abrupt end. "That experiment went far better than I expected. Though, I will have to adjust a few things..." he added, looking back to the pillar. "Do you really think I'll be able to help contain him further? If so, I'll need that book of mine."

Raine winved a bit and during the fast process, her magic had burst through every floor of the library above them when Kestrel stirred, irritated at the intruder's unwelcomed attempt at getting near him. While no mind was paid to William seeing into her memories, from her isolated life, to her temporary comforts, to the people she murdered without meaning to. However upon reaching Kestrel there was a lash of powerful demon magic that shoved William out aburptly and ended his little exploration. You really oughtta knock first, ingrate... He growled in Raine's head, sarcastic and irritated at being woken before he was meant to. Raine looked at the crystal, then William. Contain him? So William would really try his hand at trying to control Kestrel...for whatever reason she didn't reallly care, she just wanted Kestrel's life draining presence out of her life. "If you can, then it'd better be soon...it won't be long until he'll be able to kill me and escape." She said, pulling up her jacket sleeve to show the markings that were now tattooed onto her right arm and neck. She'd progressed into teh next phase, because of what had happened with Regan and Cirus.

William looked curiously at the markings, taking no offense from what she said. As far as he cared, she was his eye on the inside, he wanted her to be on his team. "Really now? Hmmm... you're full of surprises... You can bet I'll do what I can for you, though I'm limited right now. " he answered, and then seemed to look up towards the ceiling of this floor. It was silent for a moment, until William chuckled. "Right about now, my test with Ian should be starting." he then said, and looked back to Raine. "I suggest you stay here for now until those pawns of mine are dead or come back with goods news. Until then, relax. I'll be working on those adjustments if you need me..."

Raine nodded. She wasn't going to have anywhere else to go at the moment anyway. "All right...I can stay down here then." She told him. Test with Ian? Wondering what was going to happen with that kid about now, she backed away from the crystal. "I'll be around here until it's all right for me to leave then..." She looked at the ceiling. She wasn't going back up there to run into that Cirus guy anyway. She wsan't sure why, but she knew for a fact that running into him here wouldn't be ideal for what she's alreayd agreed to do for William.

William remained silent after hearing Raine and went off to work on the other crystal pillars as it seemed, touching them in different spots and even somehow forcing them to grow and change in detail. "Like I said, relax and do what you feel down here, but please refrain from touching the crystal pillars for now..."he mentioned, still focused on his work.
Then, moments later Zehk appeared, dropping down from the cieling abruptly next to Raine. "The four are doing as instructed, the students being attacked should draw Ian out of the infirmary." he reported.
"Good, now keep your patrols up. Meleos should be observing the situation up above." William replied, still only paying attention to the pillars.

Raine realized it now. So they were going to attack in the middle of the day. That was bound to get anyone's attention. She nodded to William. She wasn't really planning on seeing what would happen if she touched one of those crystals anyway. She glanced at Zehk, before looking around at the forgotten bookshelves. Low down here, though, they were ancient texts and scrolls here.

Zehk nodded at William's orders, and turned his head to Raine, smelling her quite easily. He looked right at her, but since he was blind, he just looked through, like a thousand yard stare... "Enjoy yourself, miss... these books down here I hear are pretty interesting, being as old as some of us..." he started, baring his teeth a little in a makeshift smile. "But I can't see, so you'll have to find out if the rumors are true." he finished and walked of, falling deathly silent, sniffing the air occassionally.
"You don't have to worry about the trapsthis far down. We disabled them. Well, most of them." William then commented, still seeming engrossed in working.
