The Takaba Library is a large building dedicated to the written word. Full of books about any thing one could possibly want to read about, the only staff here is the rather transient librarian. The library is mostly nonfiction, however, learning being the primary objective of the establishment. The librarian, Ichirou Kazuyoshi, however, has helped furnish the fiction in the few years he's been on staff. Open from 6:00 to 9:00 everyday.

Walking inside the library, Hima weaved between the shelves, skimming the titles of books, looking for something to catch his eye. It didn't take very long for him to figure out the book selection was limited to mostly nonfiction, a branch of reading Chihimaru didn't particularly care for. After several minutes of looking around, he straitened and leaned against a shelf, folding his arms. What a fruitless search.

The librarian finally walked in through the front door, patting his dishevled hair down with a hand as he stood just inside the doorway. Ichirou removed his sunglasses and blinked as his eyes adjusted to the light indoors before the tall blonde moved over to his assigned place behind the checkout counter. "Better late than never, it's as quiet as ever," he mumbled to himself, scanning the aisles he could see.

Unable to see anyone from his spot, Ichirou flopped down into the old office chair behind the checkout counter space and leaned back. Grunting, he stretched his arms as high as he could before relaxing and placing his feet up on the fake wood countertop. Rummaging around under the desk, he pulled out a light novel by Akikawa Yayoi and set to reading.{[( Points for whoever knows who that author is/what show he's from!!! )]}

Ayumu was quiet on the way to the library, but it wasn't an awkward silence. It was more of a comfortable one, and Ayu was more than content with holding Yuuki's hand and just stayng quiet.

Before entering the library, Yuuki decided to strike up a conversation. "So, Ayumu, do you have any siblings?" he asked softly. They didn't seem to talk about themselves enough, and Yuuki felt it was time they really got to know each other.

Feet on the desk and nose in his book, Ichirou was feelig a little drowsy. Sure, he'd gotten a full night of sleep last night, but still... Slow days always made him want to take a nap. And the sunbeam was hitting him just right... He shifted in his seat, debating getting up and leaving to keep himself awake or just dozing in the chair.

Ayumu looked over at him and pursed his lips slightly, "Nope. I'm an only child." he said, frowning slightly. "I've always kind of wanted siblings though." he continued. It would've been a little more fun (maybe) when he was sick as a child to have had some brothers and sisters to play with.

"I'm an only child, too." he said stopping at the library's door. Yuuki shuffled his feet and squeezed Ayumu's hand. "Well, this is the library...but I don't really like going in there." he said.

Ayumu raised his eyebrows, it was amazing how they had so much in common. He frowned though when Yuuki said that he didn't want to go in. "How come?" Ayu asked worriedly, giving the other's hand a comforting squeeze.

"Well, I can't do anything in there. I can't read the books in there, it just seems to remind that I'm different from everyone else..." Yuuki sighed, turned his head away from Ayumu. "No, it doesn't really matter...We can go in if you'd like, I'm just making a big deal out of nothing." he bit his lip, his expression appeared exposed and vulnerable.

Ayumu looked up at Yuuki and his worried frowned deepened. Reaching up, he cupped Yuuki's cheeks with his hands and pulled him down a little. "We don't have to go in, and if we do, we don't have to read anything..." he said, before kissing the other softly. "Besides, I don't like reading too much anyway."

((Oh, sorry. I skipped a post on accident and thought haru still needed to reply. But I replied so its all good!))
Yuuki kissed back and smiled softly. "Thanks for understanding..." it was difficult for him to be admitting to his fears and insecurities, but somehow, by tell Ayumu he felt a whole lot better.
