'A-ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" sang Kate. She was listening to 93.1 and singing along, right now, Play Something Country was being played. "Out in the country," she sang.
All of a sudden, there was a rustling in the trees. She froze. "What was that?" she asked the air. Then more loud, so people could hear hear, "Who's there?"

"You (beep)in' son of a (beep)! Your SUPPOSE to be my friend. You (beep). How can you live with yoursef?" Kate rages and jusmps out of the car, turning into werewolf as she does it. She runs, farther, and father, until she is lost in the woods.
"Oh, what will I do now?" she slumps down on a rock and begins to cry. "I know, I'll look around for some food or something", she says and walks until her legs can no longer support her. She starts to fall, expecting to land on something hard and painful, but instead lands in a peice of ground. Actual ground! Not grass, just mud, but not trees and rocks, either! With hope, she forces her weak legs to support her, and she stands up and looks around. "Where am I?" she asks aloud. Then, the images of what is around her finally make sense. I'm in a cave! she thinks. A real cave! Oh, how lucky am I? she asks, just delighted to have found shelter and not remebering her bad luck that caused her to find the cave, which is more bad luck, but she doesn't know that...

"Oh, it's getting quite cold", she said to herself. "My fur will help keep me warm."
As she was changing into K9 form, she heard the barks of angry dogs. "Woof! Woof!"
"Ahhh!" she shrieked and jumped. Just then, Felena walked in and Kate joined the dogs in thier barking, hoping to not be discovered.

"I heard the missing girl was out here", says a police man. This was the human voice Felena was hearing and she reconized it as Linda Sue's father, the sheriff.
Kate hears this and takes off, running, toward her house and hides behind a bush to change. She walks into a frantic room of more than 20 people worried sick about her.
"Honey, where were you?" yells her mother.
"I was just out for a walk along the wood."
"For more than 17 hours? That doesn't seem very likely", says her father.
"Well, I kind of got lost", she admitted.
