I don't know about tutorials for those specifically but these sites are good for something. They might help.

Just coming off making some craft foam Armor I'd suggest this.
Find a sizable picture of any of those, just a good outline that prints the proper size. Cut it out and use it as a stencil.
Take the stencil and trace it with a ball-point pen or sharpie marker on some craft foam, then use an exacto-knife to cut it out.
Coat both sides with modge podge twice. If you want some added strength and durability use modge podge to glue a piece of fabric to a side you don't care what looks like.
Then paint it as desired with either acrilics or rub and buff and it should do the trick.
This is usually for armor but I can't see why it wouldn't suffice for a shuriken. It seems wonkey at first but it really dose give a lovley effect.
