Aka Shores is a beautiful beach located about 45 minutes from the Takaba campus. It is a popular spot to visit during spring and summer breaks. The water is always warm and the beaches are clean and friendly.

Yuuki had to have a bit of help from Ayumu to get to ther beach, but they got there and it was worth it! The sun was heavenly, and upon reaching the sea of sand, Yuuki imediatly threw off his shoes smiled warmly. "That bus ride was totally worth it."

Ayumu Umehara
Ayumu didn't mind helping Yuuki at all as they rode the bus to the beach. He was very excited, it had been years since he had been to one. When they were finally there, he followed hsi boyfriend's lead and took off his shoes and socks. "Woow... it was worth it..." he said, his artist's eyes appreciating the beauty of the ocean and the sand.

Yuuki pulled his bangs behind his ears, letting his face feel the tingle of the sun's rays and nodded. "There's nothing like the feeling of sun on your face and sand inbetween you toes." he'd been to this beach three times before he went blind, and even then his vision was a bit fuzzy. In his mind, he couldn't help but imagine what it looked like. He saw the sun high in the bright blye sky that held only two small clouds, and the back and forth movement of the ocean's waves. It made him both happy and sad to be there.

Ayumu smiled and nodded, befoer taking a step. "C'mon, lets walk." he said, voice happy as he began to pull Yuuki a long. He walked slowly, though, not wanting to irritate his body in anyway.

((Yeah, thats fine. Sorry I was taking so long. My parents go grocery shopping every two weeks and stock up so we have enough food until the next shopping trip, and it takes some time to get all that food into the house.))
Yuuki followed Ayumu's lead, he couldn't go off on his own anyways as the landscape of the beach was constantly changing. It was easy for him to get lost at beaches, so he held onto Ayumu and stayed very close to him."Ayumu..." Yuuki thought for a moment. "...What do you do in your spare time?"

Ayumu raised his eyebrows at the question, and smiled. "I like to draw." he said, cheeks flushing a bit. "Landscapes, and people mostly." he continued. He had nothing better to do other than that as a kid, since he was always all couped up inside.
((lol! I have to un load everything when my mom goes shopping too, since my brother's a lazy bum.))

"O-oh..." Yuuki said with a slightly hurt smile. As always, his blindness was both a gift and a curse. It made him angry that he knew he'd never be able to see Ayumu's pictures. "Are you good?" he asked in an attempt to cover his slip up.

Ayumu caught Yuuki's sad smile and squeezed his hand. "I've been told that I have talent... though I don't really think so..." he said, leaning up a bit and kissing the other's cheek. "I've been experimenting with etching lately, and you can feel them, like brail." Ayu continued. That way, Yuuki could feel something that he made, instead of seeing it. It would make the younger happy if he could make something for his boyfriend.

"...Etching?" he repeated. A small grin formed on his lips and he nodded. "Yeah, I'd like that." Yuuki took in a slow breath as a breeze swept passed the two. The air was salty, but still pleasing somehow. He liked using his senses, even if they didn't bring him the best of things. It was as if he was trying to make up for what he couldn't see with what he could hear and feel.

Ayumu smiled even wider and hugged Yuuki, somewhat out of nowhere. "I'm glad that you would, 'cause I've been wanting to make you something." he said. He felt really happy right now, he never really had the chance to give anyone a gift before, besides his Nanny.

Yuuki jumped a little at the surprise hug, but ,after regaining his balance, smiled and welcomed the embrace. "It can be payment for that meal I cooked you earlier." he said as he put a hand on Ayumu's head and ruffled his hair. "Its the only skill I've got, so its natural I should charge for it."
