Looking to practice your skills, but don't know what to draw? Wanna get PAID to do it(in gaia gold of course)? Visit here every month for a sweet contest! As the guild grows, the time between contests will decrease to keep it fresh, but for now it will be once a month. Basically, I will post the current contest below which will be some sort of artistic challenge related to manga or gaia. Winners will be posted in the second post, as well as their art! Prizes will vary between contests, and will be awarded based on a vote between myself and other members in the guild.

THE SECOND CONTEST!!!
Draw your favorite manga! Wait! That's not all!! In your image I would like to see what makes it your favorite, or at least something you really like about the manga. FOR INSTANCE my favorite is fullmetal alchemist, and I love how Ed freaks out about his height, so I would draw Ed freaking out.
To submit your art, post it in this thread! You can either post it directly or link it!
First Prize:10,000 gaia gold!Runner Up:One Thousand gaia gold!
On August 12, post your vote for which art you think should win!

SMALL PRINT STUFFS!
By submitting art, you give skittlemaster42 permission to upload it on photobucket(with the intent to share it with other members easily), but will still retain ownership of that piece of art. Limit one drawing per person per contest. If a mule account is suspected, the user will be disqualified for that round. If the account is a confirmed mule account, the user will be banned from participating in this event in the future. Stealing art will be considered plagiarism and will be reported to gaia moderators, possibly resulting in being banned from gaia or even legal prosecution(if you steal copy written material).
One vote per person per contest. You don't need to submit art to vote, and you can vote for yourself.
These rules and regulations are subject to change over time.

Hmmm... that sounds intriguing! Next month will be "draw your favorite manga!" unless another idea is presented that is somehow better.

Mah. I sort of disagree.
I'd wish if there were more contests where we have a theme and we can just interpret what that theme means. That way we have more ways to be creative and have unique entries.

Kogane Shirogane Mah. I sort of disagree. I'd wish if there were more contests where we have a theme and we can just interpret what that theme means. That way we have more ways to be creative and have unique entries. Most will be themed, but it's nice to once in a while have one that's fairly open.
