Wow...look at all the dust this forum accumilated over the past month! *blows the dust off the forum* *cough* *cough* Now where to begin...
The lamplights casted their sick yellow glow over the wet cobble stoned streets of london, giving the streets a haunted and desolate feel to the people who walked the streets at this time of night. For reason, people walked the streets faster at night than they did in the day knowing that they were racing by some unknown fear lurking in the dark shadows of buildings and alleyways. For some they will yet again see the dawning of a new day and breathe the sweet air of life for just a bit longer, but for some unfortunate soul their time on this world will come to an abrupt end tonight...
(i know it is kinda short but I didn't want to write a whole story just this minute.... but i wonder what is going to happen.... eek )

alright, here goes nothing!
The night had no mercy on one person in particular though. Bedraggled and drunk the man had no idea what was in store for him as he staggered and stumbled his way through the streets. He was a man that was once highly thought of in the upper societies of london. He was to be betrothed to a woman of high class and superior upbringing. Her name was Samantha Heartly and at one time he was the envy of all the gentlemen, for he was the one who would become her husband. But by some careless mistakes and stocks that were invested heavily upon, the man not only lost his place in the world, but he lost his pride, his fortune, and his beloved bride to be. The only thing that God has left for him was his life, and even then the man wished that God had taken that from him aswell.
Soon, the man was alone and lost in his stupor. He founded himself in an alley not lighted by the lamps of the street. Like many before him, he had this uncontrollable chill run up and down the length of his spine and the paranoia that he was not alone any longer. His breathing had hitched and his heart beated furiously, trying to climb out of his chest. Although the man was drunk, he managed to stay as still as a stone. When he saw a shadow creep up behind him like a ghost with no owner did he thought that God had finally granted his one last wish. He slowly turned around to confront his companion of at late this night...

Thanx!^^ I'll try to write some more..there are many ways this story can go! biggrin
Fear did not begin to cover what the man had felt at his last hour. For fear was not enough, abhorance and terror swirled together with anxiety and regretfulness. It was a feeling that he had never felt in his entire life, for nothing could have prepared him for what he saw that night. The shadow had the figure of a man, but the owner of that shadow was not a man nor a woman, but a thing.
Though it was wearing a man's trench coat it could not truly hide itself inside it. It's hands were the size or an adult human's hand, but it resembled crows feet instead and it's skin was a burnt black, darker than the night itself. The face was truly horrific for when it tilted it's head, the man saw what use to be another man's face, but over time it looked as if it was decaying. Holes had grown over the cheaks, strectching like sores and showing rotten flesh inside. Also that but the eyes of what use to go with the face were not at present, but the eyes of a red swirling hatred from the creature's own soul.
The man couldn't move; he couldn't even breathe for sheer terror left him in a bind, "Dear God!" The man cried, "I know i wanted to die, but to die like this?! Tis maddness i say!" He began to back up, trying to distance himself from the the vile creature.
As if it was in a daze, it had awoken and had begun to take deep breaths, and through each breath the face of the creature became less human and more demonic and strange. It sounded no longer of deep breaths, but more like the last slurps at the end of a soup dinner. As if the disguise it was wearing was it's last meal and was preparing for a new one.
The true face of this creature was at last revealed, but the man was too much of a coward to see the face of the monster. And the creature reveled in this for his laugh was hearty, deep, and full of pleasure.
"Shall we have some fun?" It asked...

At the stroke of midnight did the pain and torture begin, such unhuman acts cannot be retold or even written for it is too gruesome and horrendous to even think of. I should say this though, that the man did not find comfort nor kindness, he did not find mercy or pity and when he asked for his savior to rescue him, did his aggresor taunt him cruely with promises that would never be fulfilled. He died that night feeling that the world was a place for demons and the humans were just their pawns.
The tolls of Big Ben announced that five o' clock has come and gone and the streets were still isolated from the human activity that will come later in the day, except for a few. Not far along a man emerged from an alleyway tucking at the sleves of his trench coat and straighting his collar. It was the same man that was, later in that night, too drunk to walk and was known for his name. To some it might have seemed that this gentleman had slept in the alley, for his clothes were wrinkled and he walked about the streets as if he were not accumstomed to his own body.
Little did they know that they walked side by side with a parasite using humans as his host and disguise; who at that very moment was relishing inside his new victim...
