For your convenience the following a thread where you can post to alert the guild of any long absences or unreachable times. I know a few people were worried about lulls in activity last week when really it was just a lot of members preoccupied offline.
Also, it is where you can boldly proclaim your triumphant return after a long absence.
Myself-
It is final's week and also my boyfriend is spending a week or two at my apartment. That means I might be inactive during odd times. Sundays I typically LARP, which means I will be away from the computer, pretending to be a vampire (that sounds incredibly dorky).

Harmony Note AntoniaMerEnfant Sundays I typically LARP, which means I will be away from the computer, pretending to be a vampire (that sounds incredibly dorky). dunno about dorky. I've always wanted to try LARP... but never found a place to do that. I don't think that we're quite the group to judge whether something is dorky or not. However, the up side of this statement is that no one here cares about how dorky you are going to be! In fact, in some cases, the dorkier the better! I also would like to try LARP. However, I think I would like to try it a long way away from where I live, as dorkiness matters a great deal to the people here, and they have long memories. (I may want to get a job here 10 years in the future or something stupid like that.)

I am heading out of town either today or tomorrow (depending on driving conditions) for a job interview. This is my first interview for the development aid organization that I really want to join. (wish me luck?)
Then I shall be visiting friends.
I will be back either late Friday or Saturday.

Bakura Amane I almost hate to ask, but as Daddy always said "There's no stupid question just the one unasked." so here goes *takes a deep breath* what is this LARP you all are speaking of? redface Sorry, I'm not up on current trends or anything. sweatdrop DOn't worry, LARPers are quite used to this question. Also 'What the hell do you think you people are doing?!' Yeah, a bunch of people dressed up like Vampires doesn't go over too well in more. . . typical. . . locations. LARP stands for Live Action Role Play. In this case we're discussing a game called Vampire The Requiem, which is a subgame of Mind's Eye Theatre. I don't know if Antonia's group is with the Camarilla, but typically these games are sanctioned by the Cam and every game world wide is considered 'canon' as far as the overarching plot goes. This means you HONESTLY get to affect global affairs. It's fun.

My being online will be erratic for the next little while. Until Tuesday.
See, my aunt is over and she's... a piece of work. I don't like her. Actually, to say that is an understatement. I have my reasons for feeling this way.
For tonight I've been staying with Jennie, a friend of mine that I met in university. For the weekend... I don't know. I might just go hide with my former roomies. I know what they're like but they're preferable to my aunt.
I hate feeling so homeless. Especially when, technically I'm not. I have a little money, but not enough for a motel for the weekend.
I don't know .... it doesn't matter I guess...

And I'm back! I seem to have a lot I need to catch up on again.
The interview went well, I think. I hope to hear from them within two weeks.
Harmony: I hope your couch surfing goes well and can end soon! Family can be a real pain.

I'm taking off again. Going to Florida for a week and a half on vacation. I might have intermittent internet access, but if not I shall catch up when I get back.
Have fun everyone!
