So, here we can discuss strategies on what to bring during hive runs. This info can be pure speculation but it'd be cool if we could do some testing.
For soloing, I'd bring a ghost, divinity, bandage, potlid, meat, hack, slash, and the last ring, I'm still deciding what would keep me alive longer.

Solo: Ninja Set, Duct Tape, Bandage, Turtle, Fitness. Crew: Ninja Set, Defib, Bandage, Turtle, Adrenaline. This is my default set-up, although I have found that Chef Set is quite good when hiving as well, both crewed and solo'd.

If by power-ups you mean like superchargers, I never ever go into hive w/o some. They help out loads in tight spots. 3nodding

I've actually never taken a supercharger to hive, although now that I think about it, they could be insanely helpful... Maybe I should buy some... for once... >.<
I've always brought ninja, turtle and meat with me to hive... then something that heals, right now bandage because I hate waiting for diagnose to finish charging... xD And divinity, since ninja seems to suck out my stamina with a vacuum cleaner.
When I first started hive, I used to bring space trooper, but now I have my fangs in ninja, I haven't seriously experimented much with rings...

I use chargers sparingly. I use polishers after wave 125 or so. Fighters usually start polishing earlier.
For those of you using ninga + meat turtle diagnose bandage, how did you figure that out? One of my good friends, RadiantDarkja, originally developed that build, and it seems to have spread from there.

Darn it!
I don't have mantis... I need like 4 or 3 more if I want to have Ninja. SHould I buy the rings?
I'll be broke... I'll try to do it later.

A lot of the current crews carry Rock Armor in that slot, or another buff such as Divinity, or some mixture in the crew. I've even seen an extra Adrenaline (it sure was nice to wear that!). 2 or 3 Rocks will cover the crew.
