I'll if I can get any others some of my buds are in the Non-Human Guild and that's about all they can handle with work and school. In that guild The captain has only posted maybe 4 times sense I joined and the major threads were posted by me and my friends. The VC has posted more than the captain and I posted more than her. The second VC hasn't posted at all. It's my group who is keeping it afloat. They don't mind but it is tiring me out so here I am. Already I've got the role in this guild I believe I can do my best at. I hope I don't sound full of it.

I alread asked some of my Gaia buddies to join. I think they've been accepted. Only one of them just got hacked, so she won't be posting for awhile.

I just found out that one of my guy friends just got shot six times by his girlfriend and is in critical condition.
Does praying actually work? or is it something to make you feel better?
I have to wait to hear from my sister cuz they are in Texas and I am in California. I wish I could do something, but I don't even have the money to get back to Texas. crying

Sweetie, praying actually works. I haven't gone to a Catholic school for nine years for nothing.
First, you have to make the prayer personal. God is listening, and he cares. But you really have to convey your feelings to him. No need to recite the "Our Father" or anything unless you want to. All you really need to say is, "God, I'm scared. I'm scared for my friend. I want him to live so badly. Please, God. I know that it's in your will to let him enter your kingdom, but is his time really up yet? There's so much more for him to do." Then you can thank God for the good times you've had with your friend. Just try to convey real emotion and sincerity. When I've prayed, I felt like God was really listening.
You can also get closer to God and respond to him by just separating yourself. Like, you can just go to a place where you've felt God before (if you haven't felt God, a quiet stream or a place in the woods in a good place to start) then just relax and know that he's there with you. Really, he is. I've tried it, and it worked so well, I started crying tears of joy. I'm not even lying there, even though it sounds slightly poetic.
So give prayer a try. It really does help.
And you have all my sympathy for your friend. crying heart crying heart crying heart crying I'll keep him in my prayers and ask others to do the same.
