Here are some other rules that apply to the roleplaying environment! Please follow them:
1.) We know not everyone is a top ace speller or particularly skilled with grammar, but please try your very hardest to have good spelling and grammar inside the roleplay environment. You won't get in trouble if you make a mistake, but should you make a mistake, your post will be subject to editing by a Crew Member.
2.) Keep OOC (Out Of Character) to a minimum. "OOC" or "Out Of Character" is when you're speaking as your real life self outside of your character. Short OOC announcements are allowed within the RP environment (example: "((I have to go for a while. Be back later.))"), but keep them at that: short. And make sure you keep any OOC posts in double-parantheses "(( ))".
3.) No "quote vectoring", please. "Quote vectoring" is when people keep quoting each other one after the other. We understand quoting helps people know exactly who you're talking to, and what you're talking about. But if you must quote, quote only the person before you, and nobody else.
4.) All roleplaying posts must be at least three (3) complete sentences long.
5.) All roleplaying posts must be in "third-person" and in "past-tense". Think of "Third-Person" as "looking at two people speak to each other from a 'third person's' view". And "past-tense", as you probably know, means "as if it has already happened".
6.) Keeping to Gaia's TOS and Rules and Regulations, keep the subject matter in the roleplaying environment at aPG-13 or lower rating.
7.) A member must first be accepted into the RP before being allowed to post in the RP environment. If you haven't been accepted, yet, please do not post anywhere in the RP subforum.

A sample of an acceptable Roleplaying post (made up by me):
Finalizing the packing of his belongings for the long trip ahead of him, Seamus flatly laid out his multi-coloured wool kilt in the bottom of one of his suitcases. He layed his leather sporran on top. He didn't want to wear the kilt aboard the plane, as he was worried the pleats would become terribly wrinkled after sitting on them for so long on such a long voyage by airplane. So until he arrived at his destination, he decided to just wear a pair of khaki trousers.
Seamus was headed to Japan for a few years, for a special college dedicated to tourism. Seamus had always wanted to become a tour guide. And Japan was one of his countries of interest. But little did Seamus know, Japan would have far much more in store for him than just tourism college. Seamus did not even think that his secret of being a Dragon Mage would be in serious jeopardy of being exposed while he stayed in Japan.
But because he did not know of the challenges that awaited him in Japan, Seamus willingly packed his belongings and headed out his bedroom door with all of them. Just then... "Seamus, come on, m'dear. You dunna want t' miss yer flight!" Seamus's mother called up to him from downstairs. "I'm coming, Mum!" Seamus responded. He barreled down the stairs with his luggage, and out the door, where his father waited inside an already running car. Seamus threw his luggage into the trunk. He then opened the car door, hopped into the front-passenger seat of the car, and then closed the door. "Let's go, Pops. Don't wanna be late." Seamus piped. With that, Seamus' father threw the car into "drive" and drove off to the airport.
