I honestly cannot say I believe in gay marriage. Although I am against their marriage, I will in no way say they are not allowed to be together.
Their lives are plagued with this curse of homosexuality and they are under the judgemental eyes of society all the time. I sympathize and say that civil union should be good enough, however, I refuse to give them something that is according to the bible to be between a man and a woman.

I think marriage should be nothing more than a legal contract. Why does religion have to be part of the state's definition of what is allowed? In that case, people of different religions can come to America and cause all kinds of problems with polygamy and stuff. If two people love each other, they should be allowed to be legally bound to each other. If the term 'marriage' bothers some people, then maybe we can rename the legal contract.

My sister's gay so it doesnt really bother me. I thnk there should be some legal documantion because what if one of them passes away and there isnt any will or anything? The partner gets left out and doesn't have any legal side to anything in that situation.

I have the same sort of view as Phoenix. I would not have any problem with homosexuals wanting to have the same visible level of commitment that heterosexuals can have. Gays can have the same physical and emotional level of commitment that straights can have, but if straights are allowed to marry and have all the advantages and disadvantages of marriage, why can't gays? I remember someone saying one time that gays should be allowed to be as miserable as straights in a marriage. XD

Yar. They can do whatever they want. Just as long as they keep their gay disease away, I don't want to catch it. wink
Kidding, of course. I think they should be free to do whatever they wish though. If they want to go through all the legal paperwork, fees, expensive weddings, divorce, and figuring out what to do with little Tim who they adopted 4 years into the relationship.. AWESOME for them.

i am compltly against it the thought sickns me. i know 2 people that are gay at my school they are my friends friends and i try to avoid them at all costs and make sure i am never alone with one of them.
1 of them thinks that a picture of a girl in a bikini is wrong and descusting (not revailing in any way just a plain adverage girl). Really if man were made to be gay men and men would be able to reproduce and females and females would also but we all know that only a man and a woman can reproduce (naturally not with some sick gay mutated science).
marriage came from the bibile phoenix. Law changed and butted into it.
Anyone who is gay has a mental problem or is deformed in some way.

I just went to the cherry festival yesterday and there were a whole bunch of people protesting for gay marriages. They were quoting directly from the Bible too..(Couldn't really hear them all to well) and there were people talking about how its wrong standing right in front of them in the crowd. But people have their own opinions, but i can't see why people can hate gays, their people too, and i am not religious or anything, but for the people who are, doesn't it goes against God for hating people for their race, color, way of thinking, ect..

My family is really religious and are always been hating on the gay community. I don't honestly could give 2 cents about them marrying each other. I have fun with gay people honestly. Their so fun to be around. XD and yes i do speak from experience and if you must know no im not gay or bi. I am strictly straight, but i have fun with it XD.

Although I'm against marriage in the first place, because I really just don't see the point, if gay men/women want to get married, then they should be allowed to.
