A player can have up to three RP characters. As long as the player can balance them and keep up, there isn't a problem. However, a player cannot have two of their own characters in the same party, to avoid confusion.
There will be a four-to-five party member limit in topics, to avoid massive confusion, over-posting, over-looking one party member, and general chaos. This rule will be implemented on a case-to-case basis, however, and if not needed will not be enforced.
No god-modding. No over-powered characters, super mutants, or people who cannot be hit or injured.
Respect the other people in the RP. There is no one main character of the RP, so act accordingly.
Be literate. I expect correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I'm not going to be a Nazi about it, but 'txt tlk' or anything like that - including using 'i' instead of 'I' will result in removal from RP. Real (normal) people don't talk like that, neither do our characters.
No killing other characters without express, posted permission.
No introducing major plot occurrences or anything that will affect everyone in the RP without posting it for comments and approval.
No OOC posts in the RP allowed. OOC may be typed in a post if followed or preceded by RP actions, ONLY if the RP section is larger than the OOC section.
a: In the RP itself, there can only be a certain number of posts by other players with one character absent before the other players must stop and simply wait. We don't want this to become an RP where one person only gets to post once or twice, and others a whole lot, simply because of bad timing by people. The number will be decided on a case-to-case basis, hopefully by the players themselves out of respect to the other player.
b: Players are exempt from this rule if the absent player will be gone for a certain length of time - a week or longer - and gives permission for their character to either be absent or used by another player. If an RP continues for an unfair amount of time without such permission, the RP will be locked down until the issue has been decided.
If a RP party needs a new thread, please notify me with the specifics - location, etc - and I will put it up for you.
