The Adorable Panda: Girl EntryThe Adorable Panda
It had been a long while that Eve had been in the woods. She began to think she might be lost. She was a dryad and thought to herself, How embarrassing it would be if I were lost in a forest..unfamiliar or not! She continued down the slightly trodden path, looking for signs of an exit. Once she leaves the forest, there will be a long, flat plain for her to traverse until she reaches the next town. She would much rather stay in the forest; but she cannot tarry any longer. Why is a Dryad so far from home? Humans burned her village high among the trees to the floor below. They called her and her sisters tree witches, blaming them that a tree had fallen onto one of their farmhouses during a storm. While all she knew was burned and destroyed, she had to leave in order to survive. And she was sure she was the last Dryad. She knew of no other villages but her own. She stopped walking at the thought and sat on a stump. Thats when she heard some rustling. She immediately spun around to face the noise, bow and arrow drawn. A young girl emerged from the foliage. Her skin was the color of the leaves in springtime and autumn. Her hair was like long, smooth pine needles. Her eyes resembled a new leaf, sprouting from a branch after a long winter. The markings on her skin resembled a river's gentle flowing water, the nourishment of life. She was another dryad. But what was that strange dark green star she held? And why was she here? Eve thought herself to be alone forever, and hundreds of questions crossed her mind. She held out her hand to the young girl. "...My name is Eve, are you a dryad?...." She whispered nervously. The girl did not speak, but simply shook her head. She looked to the night sky and pointed up, saying but one word "Celesi" Eve looked up and pondered that word. "Is that where you came from? Where is your home?" The girl nodded yes to the first question, but to the second, lowered her gaze. "So you're lost then, huh." Eve replied, saddened that the girl was not another Dryad. "I'll help you find your way back home if you come with me.." She girl's eyes brightened like two shining emeralds, she took Eve's hand and they continued down the path, exchanging few words to better find the girl's home. Both were happy to finally have a companion to travel with.

Dooma: Girl EntryDooma Prompt: You are walking in the woods at night and notice a strange little girl holding a Star. She looks lost. Will you help her find her way back home? Entry: Normally if I happen upon children I leave them to their own fate to get rid of them as soon as can. But this strange darkened girl. She looked up at me her golden eyes glinting with fear just for a minute before they turned cold and steely. As she turns her head taken those golden glowing eyes from me her black burnt hair falling across one eye. It still glowed as under her short black hair as she picked up her earth colored star. She held on to it tightly and stood slowly healthy fresh vines wrapped around her hips and chest. "Are you trying to send me home?" She asked her tone was devoid of emotions and she seemed a little too robotic. Her flat tone and those cold eyes made me smile, "If you wish to stay on this Earth in stead of in the heavens I shall help you. One day when you find where you wish to be then I shall help you there...until then one such as you should be protected and taught to be strong." Holding her start in one arm she reached a exotic plant colored hand up for mine and nods, "Then teach me of where my home should be....with the plants I look like or the stars that I am....Help me fine my home"

oO Stella-Chan Oo: Girl EntryoO Stella-Chan Oo Quote: You are walking in the woods at night and notice a strange little girl holding a Star. She looks lost. Will you help her find her way back home? The sky blanketed our small town like a divine silk sheet, twinkling in the night with a million glowing stars. I had never seen a night so beautiful...so serene. The air was warm and sweet smelling- with a gentle cool breeze ever so softly blowing by. I strolled toward the edge of the lush green forest that sat at the farthest end of the village. I knew not what drew me there, but I suddenly found myself deep within the wood as if I had been sleepwalking. I awoke from my trance and my vision cleared. A rustle came from behind me and I spun around only to see leaves scattering. I have to admit I was a bit frightened being there... so alone. Something was near...I could feel it within my bones. Was it following me? What should I do?I picked up a hefty stick to use as a weapon if need be, and then I heard it again. *rustle, rustle*I turned around raising my "weapon" and preparing for the worst. What I saw before me made me stop my arms in mid-air. I dropped the stick I had been holding and knelt to the ground. A small and very unusual little girl was sitting on the ground, her arms shielding her head. "I'm so sorry, so very sorry- I...I didn't mean to scare you..." I spoke softly as not to frighten her again. She looked up at me, and slowly reached over and picked up the star she had been carrying. It glowed dimly in the darkness of the forest, as the moonlight shone upon her face. Her skin was an odd but beautiful shade of green, and she was clothed in nothing but vine-roped leaves. I couldn't help but notice the lonliness in her eyes. "Are you lost?", I asked. She shook her head slightly. "Well, have you been following me?" To this she nodded, followed by a soft-spoken and barely audible "yes." She then pointed to the star she had been carrying, and I couldn't help but wonder why she held onto it so tightly. "Where did you come from?", I questioned. She did not speak, but instead a tear fell from her cheek. I could tell right then and there that she obviously had been through something life-altering, and was in need of a good night's sleep. I held out my hand and without hesitation, she grasped onto it. We began to walk back to my house, until she began to run ahead of me. She knows where I live? Then...she must have been watching me- but why? Still, she clearly needs someone to take care of her...I followed her quickly back to my dwelling, though unsure of what would happen next. All I knew was that somehow- we needed each other.

Paivanni: Boy EntryPaivanni Quote: Stella turned her head for one second and that boy who had just grew ran off! She looked everywhere, but could not find him. She pleads with you to look about Gaia and find him. Will you help her? "Let me guess, you're here to tell me to go home?"
Paivanni hadn't been entirely sure what to expect when she'd let herself get roped into looking for the boy: maybe a truculent brat who just wanted to go play rather then be stuck at home, a wide-eyed boy who'd happened to get lost, or even a mischievous terror who'd decided to play a somewhat malevolent game of hide and seek.
Instead she was met with a boy who's tone showed only a hint of sarcasm, and who's face just showed slight boredom.
"You don't seem to be doing much with yourself out here, so why not?" It didn't look like she'd have to drag him back kicking and screaming, at least. If he'd looked that troublesome she would just would have let someone else deal with him; she had enough things to do today, that she arguing and dragging a runaway back home would make her run late. As it was, she was already behind schedule.
She should have known better then to agree to this, anyway - but all it'd taken was a few pleading words and a hopeful look, and she'd agreed to check a few places. Really, considering Paivanni's knowledge of children ranked at the same level as her knowledge of Sanskrit, she definitely should have known better. Paivanni had even run out of places to check by the time she had found the kid.
The arcades had been filled with people, when she'd stopped in there. Paivanni had even thought she'd found him, for a moment, before she got close enough to realize that the 'child' in question was actually an unusually short teenager. Who apparently hadn't liked the implication that he was small enough to be mistaken for a child.
The park she visited was also a dead end; she'd left there in a hurry after being given some blatently unfriendly looks from the assorted parents. It would seem that a suspicious looking stranger, loitering around and staring closely at children, wasn't the sort of person welcome there. Nobody had certainly ever accused Paivvani of having social skills.
The toy store was also devoid of any small, blue boys, and even the candy store had only turned out a single worker, who had promised there'd been no blue children in that day (although if she was willing to wait a few days, they would get in some new flavors of sour children candies - one of which was blue).
By that point, she simply had decided to go ahead and finish her errands, giving up on seeking him out. If Stella hadn't been able to find him, when she at least was familiar him, why should Paivanni be able to?
So it came as a bit of a surprise when a small blue figure bobbed into view, carrying a star, just outside the supermarket.
And it came as another surprise when he didn't bother arguing with her. She hadn't been expecting a runaway to come with her that easily.
"Don't have much to do there, but I've run out of things to do out here... So I guess it doesn't make much difference," he glanced down at a small bag he was carrying, and with a brief smirk spoke again, "And I've already had some fun. So, sure."
Paivanni had to wonder where he'd gotten the money to buy anything (did Stella give him some kind of allowance? She somehow got the impression that wasn't the case...), and what a kid like this would even buy for fun. It wasn't really her problem, though; she'd let whoever was responsible for this kid deal with it.
At least now she might be able to get him back in time to finish her own errands, and get a bit of rest before work.
