Abanasinia is the Elfin region. This region consists of quite a large area of both land and water. It spans almost the half of the continent of Ansalon, and includes in it's span:

Slivanesti, Home of the original and stand-offish Silvanesti elves. This region is in the south eastern corner of Ansalon, and borders the Balifor Sea on the west and the Plains of Dust on the east.

Qualinesti, Home of the Qualinesti elves. They, Like the Silvanesti elves, live in total solitude, shunning the outside world. This region is in the south western corner of Ansalon, and borders the Plains of Dust on the east, and the Sirrion Sea.

Southern Ergoth, Home of the Kagonesti elves is an island to the north west of Qualinesti. It is surrounded by the Sirrion Sea, and has Northern Ergoth to the north.

Blood Sea of Istar, Home of the Dargonesti and Dimernesti elves. This sea is split down the middle by a 100 mile wide Maelstrom, around which lies the sunken city of Istar. The elves live in two different sections of the city and generally avoid each other.
