I just got a deathawk, but I can't seem to get the look just right. If anyone knows anything please help.

It's not that hard, just get a can or two of aquanet and tease it up with a brush or comb, then straighten out your batwings (if you've got them) with gel. What about it doesn't look right?

But Aquanet stinks now. sad I think they changed their formula—it's just not holding at all.
Would a professional teasing comb help? They are fine toothed and typically have those parallel metal bars on one end that are used for giving your hair a 'lift'.

neutral That sucks, I hope they didn't change the formula.

Maybe you should thin it out with a razor blade so it isn't so thick at the front. If all else fails use basic teasing applications like a blow dryer and a teasing comb and combine it with aquanet . If that doesn't work, you might not be cut out for gravity defying hair.

I've used that stuff too, but It didn't exactly work out all too well. I solved the problem. I'm using spiking glue to mess it up just enough to be recognizable as a subculture type hairstyle thingy...but not enough for it to stand up as tall as it could be. smile I think it looks good.
