I love the idea of To Write Love On Her Arms. But lately I've been hearing a lot of stuff about how not all the money goes to what they say it does. Yes I know that they must take some to get by while touring, but I've heard that not even 70% of the money goes to helping people with depression, and so on. I can't say that this is true, but I've heard this from so many people.
Also, I was on socialvibe. And someone made a post about a video they had made for TWLOHA. It was graphic, but factual, and it showed how harmful cutting and depression can be. He posted it as a comment on their page. Later he got a message saying it had been deleted because it was too graphic and wasn't what TWLOHA was about. But why would they delete that video if it was telling the truth. It could've shown people how bad it really was and then they would want to help.
Don't get me wrong but I think that TWLOHA is just changing from what it used to be?
What do you think?
(sorry if this offended anyone..)
No Longer Alone
a place where teens that struggle with depression/emotinal pain can come together and talk about how they feel freely =]
