Give me envy, give malice, give me your attention...
Attics To Eden. How will you ring in the new album?
Right now my avatar is supposed to be Adalia... sweatdrop But I have got quite the plan in mind. It includes many a youtube videos and many confused class mates. And, of course, Madina Lake all day. :3
So what about you guys? There haven't been many posts lately so I guess I'll ask how you all are doing.
...Give me envy, give me malice, baby give me a break

Gotta say, I am very disappointed with Attics to Eden. I expected it to be a lot better. Don't get me wrong, the first four songs (Never Take Us Alive, Let's Get Outta Here, Legends, and Criminals) kick major a**.
But the rest of the CD, for me at least, was weak. Silent Voices Kill is their attempt to remake Me Vs. the World, but it didn't happen as well as they'd planned. Not for This World is also just a crap song if you ask me. It's Pandora, revisited stylistically (not lyrically of course), but it was revisited poorly.
I love Criminals though. It's amazing. So is Welcome to Oblivion. I forgot to mention that one in my list of kickass songs. oops.
But, in my opinion, though I absolutely HATE to say it, Attics is just not comparaable to FTTUTY.
The concept was strong, but the execution was weak. Sorry.

Give me envy, give malice, give me your attention... Hmmmm. That's interesting... I always like hearing different opinions and you have the righ to yours, so no need to apologize. I think that yes, you can't compare to FTTUTY because they are such different cds. I personally love both, but I can see how you and others might not like it. I like Criminals as well. I enjoyed how they played with the idea of criminals being pushed aside from society. I thought that was very cool. Leave it to Madina Lake to shed some new light on things. I really liked Silent Voices and Not For This World, ha ha. I can see the connection between Silent Voices and Pandora musically, but I still find it a very weak connection, I'll have to compare those two later, as well at Me Vs. The World. What do you make out of Lila, The Devine Game?
(Nice to see you back by the way) ...Give me envy, give me malice, baby give me a break
