Hello all.
I am in a musical with my school's theater department. We are doing Aida (Elton John and Tim Rice), and we open a week from today (Nov. 11). Is anyone else in a musical/play/any other kind of after school activity that is really cool? Because the show is SO awesome.
There is Aida, the Nubian princess, who is taken into slavery gonk by the Egyptians under the command of Captain Radames, who is destined to be the pharaoh, because he is betrothed to the Princess of Egypt, Amneris. Well Amneris is head over heels for Radames, but he isn't ready to stay put in Egypt for the rest of his life. His father, however, wants him on the throne as quickly as possible, so he has his ministers (kind of like a cult) poison the pharaoh twisted . Aida becomes one of Amneris' slaves, and she (Aida) and Radames have a few run-ins, and eventually they fall in love 4laugh . But then, Amneris finds out that they have betrayed her crying , and the plot about the poison comes out. Aida and Radames help the Nubian King escape and then they are buried alive beneath the sands of Egypt eek xp . Amneris decides to bury them in one tomb to show them mercy because she loved them both dearly cry . So its REALLY cool the set piece we have for the tomb, it looks kind of like a TV, its a big box with a piece of plexiglass in front, then they sit inside, sing their last song( crying its a tear jerker), and somehow the crew makes it so that sand pours into the glass, and when it is full they are "buried". So. Cool. !!!!
So anyway. If anyone else does anything cool, I would like to hear about it!! mrgreen

It sounds like the type of play to keep the audience at the edge of their seats.
Sorta like Romeo and Juliet
only in egypt
Our school is doing some dark Valentine thing
Last year they did the Susacle xd
O and Im in computer club.
First time me and my friend walked in there they

*laughs* I used to be in my school's computer club, and they pretty much gave me and my friends the same look. Then we quit because we realized that some of the kids in there are complete assholes that think they know everything, but don't. And you don't wanna hang around retards in a computer club. That's like... wrong.
I'm in my school's band. I'm the first chair flute/piccolo for the middle-group of the three different types of concert bands. This year, I really think I should've been put in the best of the three because one of the flutes graduated, and another dropped, but the director won't let me because he's a stingy b***h. Dx
Also, I'm in the school choir. We had a director change for that this school year, and not many people like it 'cept the freshman because they didn't know the previous one. But I absolutely love this new guy compared to the old one. He's so much more fun, gets mor work done, and is organized. Oh, and I'm a second soprano. xD
Last, I have a job at GameStop. When I first started working there, pretty much all of the guys just gave me the "OMFG. A gamer chick that's highly knowledgable AND cute! O.O" face. xD I've been there for about 1 year and 2 months, and found out that if I were out of high school and 18, that I could've been promoted to the lowest of three management positions. ToT But no, they had to take a holiday hire instead. e.e If they try to offer me the position when I qualify, I've thought this out. Being the spiteful b***h that I can be, I've decided to tell them, "Sure. But only if you transfer Bob elsewhere, because I don't wanna move." ..I'm starting to rant. I better shut up. x:
Anywho, that's pretty much it for me and afterschool activities. Aside from the obvious pixel artings and video gamings. x3
