my first stoy its alright but not great ive got about 6 chapters on my computer right now so here it is:

~intro~

My name. Nic Seyffert. I grew up in a small town on the east coast of Massachusetts called Marshfield. Wasn’t too bad, had some friends, my family owned a business, life was alright. But then, once I graduated from high school things went south. Everyone was split up. I joined the military at age 18. When I was 19 I took my first life. Just the thought of the agony sent a chill down my spine until I was about 25 when we raided an enemy camp. That night I killed exactly 17 enemy soldiers, and 3 enemy officers. The massacre was horrifying. My squad called me “the” killer from then on. Those days are behind me. So now, I’m going to find my old friends, take them all with me, and KILL ALL OF MY HATED CHILDHOOD ENEMIES!!!

~chapter 1~
Driving into marshfield, everything looks strange. There aren't any other cars on the road. Some of the buildings are even destroyed. What happened here? Stepping out of my car I can see someone in the old papa ginos. Aproaching it gun shots are fired into the air. Dashing behind the back alley wall begining to look to see who fired the shots. Somebody yells, "ONE MORE STEP I'LL BLOW YOUR ******** HEAD OFF!!!". Wait a moment. I recognize that voice, like a ghost inthe back of my mind. "WAIT! MIKE! IT's ME NIC!". A pause. The person speaks, "How do you know my name? Who are you?". He seemed startled. "I am a friend from your childhood! don't you remember me? we were friends since the 1st grade!". A long silence is the only response. Until spoken, "Get the hell in here!". Approaching the voice his face is sent into view. "So mike, anyone else here?". "Just one, shes in the kitchen making some pizza". Heading into the kitchen a ghost like figure is rolling dough. "Oh my god....Sarah!". I embrace her. she pushes me away until she realizes who just hugged her. "NIC!". We embrace and begin to talk. "Where have you been? where did you go? what did you do with your life?". Answering her questions she is frightened by my multiple war stories. Comforting her, I asked her what happened to marshfield. She tells me a miniature nuclear device was set off and killed everyone in town. She and Mike and both found eachother visiting Marshfield and now fend for eachother. Mike begins yelling at us. "Sarah! Nic! The MUTANTS ARE BACK! GRAB A GUN AND FIGHT!". Following sarah to the weopons she grabs an assualt rifle. I take hunting knives get ready for the flank. Mike screems, "Sarah! wheres nic!!!!". "Were being overrun!! we 'll never make it!". Gun shots everywhere. Blood. Limbs. They all stimulate me. My eyes turn red. Muscles tense. Whats going on? this never happened to me before in the military. Jumping into the air, landing my knives in a mutants neck. Cleaving it clean off. Slice and Dice my way through the mutants ranks, Killing every last mutant my knives come in contact with. blood stains all over me. The mutants surround me. they are closing in on me with swords. I vanish. All that is viewable is blood dripping from the mutants necks. The heads fall off releasing fountains of blood. Finaly. All the mutants dead on the ground. All they can see is a Demon in the middle of the sea of blood. Behind it a fountain. A strange liquid flowing down it and shooting from top. Looking through a scope . Mike sees the liquid is blood. The Demon and the fountain disapear. I appear behind Mike and Sarah. "Looks like my goal of hunting my enemies has changed." "I must tap into the Demon inside me and destroy it. OR WE ALL DIE!"

~chapter 2~
Walking down to my old house, its getting dark. Looks like i'll crash there for the night. turning the corner an old Jeep Wrangler is in the driveway. My brothers first car. Opening the door, walking up the stairs, everything is just like I remember. Old, pictures, the memories, everything. All of a sudden. A noise. Figuring its just mice I grab my knives and check it anyways. Creeping down the steps, seeing a shadow. Jumping at it thrusting my knives. Wait! "OTIS!". Its a dog. My old dog from when I was a child. He is a blonde colored yellow lab. He doesnt seem to recognize me. Looking over at a picture i see a dog and three puppies with a caption reading, "Otis and family". Looking into my brothers old room there is another dog. A pure black dog. Not sure what type of dog this one is. Both look fierce, hungy. Must be hunting dogs. Taking some pictures and memories I find more current pictures telling me that the pure black dog's name is also. "Killer". The blonde one is named after otis himself, he's a spitting image of my old dog so the name fits well. Showing them pictures of Otis and I they befriend me and come along. Leaving the house I say my final goodbyes. Looking at the fridge I notice it's new. Band new. There's a bunch of food in it. Someone has been living in my old house!
Packing up food I take the spare key to my brothers jeep, load it up, and drive back to papaginos booking it. when I get there I explain everything that has happened. After I decide to Get something from an old friend's house. a sword. Driving down to my old friend Alec's househis house is blown to shreds. its barely even standing. Heading upstairs I grab his old sword and sharpener. Heading out the door somebody yelling "Move another step with that there sword and i'll but a bullet through your head!" Putting the sword down I turn and see a mad man standing on the steps with a minigun. "Who are you!" the man asks. Replying with "Nic Seyffert. And you are?" he drops the gun. Running over and tackling me yelling "Nic it's me Alec!". After talking about some old memories we hit the hay at his house for night. In the morning we head to papa ginos and explain everything. Mike and Sarah tell Alec about the demon. I tell him i cant controll it. It never happens when im alone. Alec comes at me with an attack. Hitting him right down i tell him that wont work. We need a full scale attack like last time. He suggests to just find the mutants but we tell him its too dangerous. A huge flash blinds us all. Whats going on?

~chapter 3~
And so the band of brothers were reunited at last. The group set off to scout the town. Checking every last building no survivors were found. Only dead bodies, and blood. And on the cold dead bodies they found weopons and apparrel. They suited up and went to the final building left in marshfield. Marshfield High School. Not 10 paces through the door they were ambushed by an army of mutants. "Holy Crap..." they said in unison. Nic yelled "Everyone to the roof now!" as they ran mutants attacked around every turn. Nic cleared the path with a pair of katanas while Mike and Alec shot the mutants down as they were chasing behind us. Finaly we made it to the roof. Nic Screamed at Mike and Alec to continue firing on the door. Sarah noticed a grenade box sitting off to the side of the stairway. Nic told her to help him throw the grenades into the crowd of mutants. As the grenades rained upon the crowd the mutant ranks dwindled. All of a sudden the trees fell off the horizon. Coming into view was a giant mutant almost three times as large as the trees. Nic was speechless. Sarah just said "Oh my god..." Nic ran and set up a ladder on the side opposite the mutants. They pushed back the mutants down the stairs and locked the doors. They all ran and decended the ladder. After hours of running they finnaly escaped they decided to leave behind marshfield to continue their search.

~chapter 4~
And so the group Traveled to neighboring towns in search of survivors although nic himself in search of answers to his demon problem yet to no prevail. On the verge of losing and giving up hope something or someone burst from the shade. With weopons prepared the shade was now visible. Mike was the first to speak. "and you are?" response. "you all knew who I was back in time. just think back to a time of no worries. no responsibilities." nic looked conserned. "so what do you want" response. "to help you. i saw that demon you unleashed. I help you. You allow me to study the demon." nic smirked. "alright. come on everybody lets go." response."no. you come alone." nic''s hopes were sunk. "well I have no choice guys. everyone stay safe." saying his good byes they arranged plans where and when to meet up when he got back. "so you all will stay in stop and shop for food and shelter. correct?" sarah responded. "yes and we will be missing you when you are gone." alec gave him a walkie talkie to get in touch when he got back to them." mike was angry. "what the hell. you leave for years come back kill some s**t and now you are going to leave again?" "im sorry mike. i'll be back soon." Nic and the stranger departed and continued to prepare for the following day. where nic learned he would be put under tests to bring out the demon within him.
