Could today's popular music be any more retarted? Songs about 'lady humps' and 'junk in the trunk'... I remember the days when music used to be a little more deep than "I GOT TEH SEX LOL". I remember the days when you could actually hear a real instrument in a song and not 24 minutes of the same 3 seconds of synthetic bass/drum beat.... Seems like anyone can string up a crappy beat riddled with sexual terms (they don't even bother with innuendos anymore) and be a big time 'artist'. It pisses me off cause all these rich 'dady's girls' get record deals when the people with the real talent are stuck playing in garages and crappy 'battle of the bands' and never amount to anything.
And dance music... what the hell is dance music? It's like auditory diarhea.
Nothing makes me want to open my veins more than techno/dance/rap/r&b... is it any wonder why I'm not a fan of the whole 'club scene'.

I have a friend who spins, so I don't mind real techno/electronica, but I totally agree that alot of music sucks these days. I'm so not into the who gehtto/gangsta whatnot crap... the industry needs more real music, and piano...

I'd love to take piano lessons, but I don't have the time. I had to drop my singing lessons... and I work 4 nights this week! gonk

The kind with Indian and african rhythms and stuff in it.
Or any foreign (non-English speaking) techno, really.
Better than what we got here.

I hate that "my humps"song soooo much too. And the video is so weird...
And Ashlee Simpson is a ******** brat, she's dumb, she can't sing and has no talent... she should just be a hooker.

i actually don't like a lot of the music of today, most of my collection of music have old stuff, i don't buy cd's anymore....or at least hardly, cauz there's nothing good to buy.
of course there's exceptions.but i have to agree with you fehnir....too much "i got the sex"
