So while at No Brand Con, I picked up the third OVA for Tenchi, since I have the other two and have seen most of the other Tenchi stuff when it comes to the anime.

I was a little bit disappointed that they don't have Petrea Burchard as the voice of Ryoko anymore. Instead Mona Marshall is doing it. Her voice becomes more accustomed to it by the end, but it starts out way to high pitched and girly. For me, Ryoko has to be deeper, more sultry to sound right.

I also thought the plot(s) was a little convoluted. I didn't like the whole part of dealing with Mihoshi's brother, and I should have really sat down to watch "Tenchi Muyo1 GXP" before watching this, as it was mostly a big crossover for the two series.

I did like the fact that they tied up the loose ends from the previous OVA's, such as dealing with Lady Tokimi. Also, the art design was back to it's usual beauty after the travesty that was Tenchi in Tokyo. Not only was that a badly written series, it was a badly drawn one!

For anyone interested in seeing the third OVA, I would suggest watching GXP before you do. Otherwise, enjoy!
