I'm not sure it is "artistic" per se, but I'm posting the giant tadpoles of doom that I found today.

Tadpoles! surprised
They're awesome at that size.
Random: A couple years ago I was very bored at the start of summer and spent time wading through our pond, catching them by hand. It was trickier than I thought it'd be. XD

Yeah, this picture doesn't show how big they really are. I was standing 10 feet away from the pond when I took this. I would say they are a good 5-6 inches long. They are ginormous! I have never seen tadpoles this big.

I love this first one, because it looks like the picture is upside down (which it isn't) and the branches kind of fit in the middle like puzzle pieces. I call this one Shy Innocence. I like this statue, and wish I had one of my own...

Evil- AMAZING, Amazing Picture of the branches. I love it because I feel like I am craning my neck to look up at the tree above me as I view this picture from my seat. The second is wonderful too-I enjoy how the rose plays "peek-a-boo", great light/shadows, great color.
The third is rough because I see we have the EXACT same problem with our respective cameras. You seem to suffer as I do from the blur syndrome- you love the natural light but your camera is lousy when it comes to shutter speeds and capturing "low"-light shots. Does your camera have an adjustable shutter speed? Mine doesn't (lousy point and shoots). It's a good shot otherwise but I can tell what you mean about your camera.
You have a wonderful eye, but you do desire an upgrade in equipment.

Nope, I have just the basic point and click too. I took a lot more pictures, but most of them were craptastic due to blurriness. I'd love to buy a "real" camera someday, but that costs monies, and I'm not sure how much of a real hobby it would be. Real cameras seem a lot more difficult to lug around...

Tell me about it! sweatdrop The camera I inherited (or rather took upon myself) from my dad is an SLR (traditional no digital screen) may not have a telephoto lens, but it has lots of gadgets and gizmos aplenty! whee The one he gave me isn't really too bad, but I'm sure I'll be using it more when I feel better and school's out for a few weeks before summer school starts in. I also have a "wonderful" point and shoot digital camera. 3nodding Got it for my birthday one year! I love it, but it eats my batteries like crazy. xp
