Disclaimer: Very not nice version of a rant that's been building in my head. You read this, and b***h me out for it? Pfffft. You're being warned now. Its mean, it sounds mean, its meant to sound mean right now. If you don't like it I don't care. I may try to reword it to sound nicer, I may not. So don't read this long piece of rant if you want to read sunshine. I am trying not to hold back getting it all out, I can make it nicer later.

While we're discussing/you're planning how to save OVR, lemme put my stuff here to with ya to help/hurt some.

Things that need to be done:
Main thread's first post. The quick links aren't quick. You link to your side threads in the first posts. You don't link them from another page. You linked to the office on the first page of the main thread, why not the other places? Basic rules need to go there as well, as well as any/all plot updates.

The Jail, the courthouse, etc... these threads don't mean anything without activity going on. Without a reason for people to be there. You created them, but they're not what's needed. D8

UNDERLYING PLOT - God damnit. There has to be some underlying secret, some overall plot for people to get involved in. If we're waiting until summer for something to do, we find other places to be, and are not as likely to come back. >.> I'm still hemming and hawing over this.

Crossovers - Its HARD to find a good crossover RP that isn't a chat RP, hard to find a good crossover RP in general. Don't ******** screw that up. PW isn't as popular as it once was, face it.

Rules: Make them clear. Give people a profile form to submit for query. When they are that wordy and people are confused, then you've got something wrong. Make up your mind about how you're going to do things. AND STICK TO IT.

Mods not RPing - Mods who don't want to RP or be forced into RPing should step back from modding until they can full fill their duties. You want us to RP, show us an example. If you want to call yourselves moderators, we look to you for examples. SET THEM. And keep to them.

Magic - Won't touch this. Its well known how I feel about it. But it should be known, the warp can't be explained without magic, and should you get rid of it entirely, I am gone. Its one of the things that drew me to OBJ, all the magic and fun and good times that was there. GS has the magic, but they definitely scare the s**t out of me. Yes, I'm bringing them up. They're doing stuff, fully admit to lurking and hearing from friends, that makes me glad they didn't want me. 'cause I think I'd be leaving there anyways about this time.

OBJ - This is not OBJ, not anymore, not even close. Its missing the random fun, the lulz, the warmth. OVR is just a pulled back version of OBJ. No one 'owns' the world. And OVR is dying because you're doing something. ******** admit that. Lilar left, Beramode left, think on that damnit. They had reasons for leaving, because of stuff you were doing.

I TRIED - TO ******** organize something for a weekend. I had fun the first day... but then everyone got busy the rest of the weekend. Not blaming you, but it would've been nice for people to say "I'd love to participate, but something's come up". YOU WERE ******** ONLINE THAT NIGHT TO SAY IT! If you want any help to make any events at any time in the future... ******** you. I felt put out on Saturday. So ******** YOU! /needed to vent

Other things you can do:
Name someone as mini-mod to check your PMs on the joint account or take care of things. HONESTLY. GO ONTO THE DAMN ACCOUNT ONCE PER DAY SOMEONE! Is it that hard to do? Bee submitted an application, its been what... a few weeks? This will put people off, friends and newbies trying to join alike.

If you insist on keeping it pure PW, GET A DAMN PHOENIX. SON OF A b***h! Or ask us to rotate playing through a basic shared Phoenix account so we have one around, and we give it to someone who's competent to play him permanently.

People don't want to meet my OCs, they want to meet the canons. TOUGH LUCK. I want to meet and talk with the canons too you know? But I only play Oldbag and Maggey, and don't feel like playing them all the time. If it disturbs you that all you meet are my characters, tough ******** luck. I'm one of the regulars here... and I'm one of the people still around, though I don't ******** know why at times. I can't ******** really care about most of my canons anymore... there's no reason to. My OCs I do care about. So screw you.

The Manor of Sleep - HEY LOOK HERE IT MIGHT BE AN OVERALL PLOTLINE. Something better controlled than the dark god Bull crap from OBJ. There's two issues I have with this:
1) No ghosts in the office - That's fine... but Oz said she played Juan as a dead guy. A ghost. SO.... contradiction? You want something you can hit with a sword... well... you know what... not all problems can be solved with a sword. And I got permission for the Camera obscura a LONG while back. Don't give me BS otherwise. Someone on mason gave it.

2) I got a plot in progress I got a plot in progress. I mean honestly people... its a plot, to get people doing s**t. Least we have one. Though I am tempted to take it elsewhere. That we've shared/discussed with other people who are part of the group, and they want in on it. But you know what, its one thing to give us a 'ball' to run and play with, its another thing to actually participate and help with it. That's not how a moderator should be, to just sit back and give us a ball. That's how OBJ DID FAIL. People weren't involved enough, people didn't communicate enough.

3) Okay, so more than two points, so what? It would be an over the top plot that would encompass a decent crossover with a happiesh ending. You know what, happy endings may be common, but they're fun. And we like them. You don't like them, then you should tell everyone in OVR that there won't be happy endings. That'll go over well. This is also a horror survival game without over the top BULL s**t with ED. This is better controlled. We're not giving people a dark ******** book to go and run around being invisible with.

MORE THINGS: OMG THIS IS LONG RIGHT?

The Regulars... oh god us... we need something to do in what you call the off season, if nothing else about this ******** post makes sense, its that. We have nothing to do, we go elsewhere. And might not come back. You're telling us to hold out until summer, but we want our RPs now. This is where an underlying plot would come into play.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT? If you guys can't be on to mod all the time, do name someone as a mini mod to oversee s**t. ******** A! Let go of your pride and admit you're doing it wrong.

This is one long bitchy rant. So screw me. ******** you all. I still don't know why I'm still around. I'm being honest. I have hope, but you know what, its been frustrating. I tried an event, I did... and first day good, other days... crap. I don't like RPing with myself all the time. At least you guys admit that I'm one of the things keeping OVR alive.

Though I have to wonder, if you guys get things up and running which is no small miracle really... will I be dumped after that fact? I suppose that's a fear of mine... though if I leave I do take a few with me. Putting that out there. GS is s**t for reasons different than OVR is failing. Both places just are kinda doing it wrong. Honestly, I don't give a rat ******** about GS. They can kill themselves however they like. Its OVR that I still have some caring for, because you guys I do consider friends. And its why I've been holding back saying this s**t anywhere you guys can see it.
