For the small mistakes that haunt us the rest of our lives.
You know those little slip up's that really get you down. A tiny hole in a beautiful cosplay from a careless slip of the shears or a cracked jem on a head dress?
It's the tiny almost unnoticeable mistakes that although 100% our own fault that with daunting irreversible-ness haunt us the entirety of the cosplay.
Vent about your miserable mishaps and share lore of screw-up's past. Help each other with tips on how to fix them.
It'll start, I bought a $45, 38inch wig from cosworks for my linear cannon and I accidentally cut the hair length in the front four inches shorter then it should have been. Her characters pretty obscure so no one will notice but unless I pull fifty bucks out of a hat then it'll be bothering me the entirety of AB and perhaps the Spring Kaiju-con if I go. I fail at wigs.

I know exactly what you mean!! I went to a small con a few month ago in an Oddish-Trainer costume that I had come up with myelf. The dress was perfect but I didn't have time to hem it.... most people wouldn't have noticed but it bugged me the entire weekend.

I made an amazing Zell Dintch costume for back in '07 or so. Got everything down, including the hair :] But after the first few pictures I took with my friends, I noticed I drew the markings on the face on the wrong side. FAIL.
Last year I went as Youji from loveless, my friend made the costumes, and it was awesome for her first time. She didn't have time to finish them, so we sewed them the best we could at the hotel. We cheated and just ironed the hems and then just sloppily stitched them. No one noticed, but we felt silly for it D:

It'll take like five seconds.
Even if it is just a small thing when stuff like that happens it can drive one to madness. x3
