I picked this game up today and I must say this has to be one of the best Xbox games I have had the chance to play. Take into concideration im not use to the star fighting yet (would love to fly a Ti-fighter not some lame almost xwing thing) but this game is awsome

ok the graphics arnt the best in the world but you can tell what every thing is, so thats good enough aye?
game play is great, so many diffrent classes to choose from as well as the occasional Jedi to command. personaly i liked the basic trooper, and the sniper (not sure yet but jedi seem a little weak do to their close range attacks)
over all I will recommend this game to buy (it also comes with a 2month free xbox live card)

has anyone else had a chance to play yet?( I'm almost surprised my self i got off to write this for you guys)

ok, Jedi are actualy very good-so far its only Yoda and the emperor that i can play as. (Emeror has week force lightning, and yoda only has force push and pull)
most jedi can throw the lgiht saber, jump 100 feet into the air, deflect lazer shots. so jedi can change the course of a battle, however inorder to survive as a Jedi you have to be good at it. Jedi are pretty big targets and can die very quickly.

Space battles at first are confusing but you will quickly getthe hang of it. you may need to customize your controls for best ship raids, and figure out what your strong suit is. as for my self I tend to get in the small fast raiders go into the enemys ship and take out allthe internal hardware (shields, auto guns, engines, and life support) then take an enemy's bomer and take out the external communication tower, and the bridge as well as a glowing thing on the back(not sure what the last object is)

I had two chances to play this game however I let down both. I'm somewhat confused why there's less maps to play in. My brother played it and I asked how was it. He replied that Kayshook(sp) sucked a** now. One map instead of the two before and thet you could either choose 2 wookies or 1 droid to play as. It made me feel well neutral Also he told me they did no improvements on Hoth and Endor. I think they wanted to much Episode 3 and not enough of the other movie battles.

from what ive played it seems pretty much like the original battlefront as far as the ground battle goes cept for the ability to be a jedi which i might add is alot of fun not ver expansive with the light saber swings but u can use force powers too like push and the super jump, but the newly add space battle its so cool, the space battlefields are very expansive so theres plenty of room to fly around which was an issue if u ever picked up a fighter in the last game (ud slam into an invisible wall almost instantly and you couldnt menuver very well). all in all this games pretty decent, nothin to complain about and if ur a star wars fan you'll enjoy it

I played it and it really isn't much to talk about besides the assloads if awesome star wars action that only Pandemic can deliver.

one word of advice is that the most trust-worthy soilder is the colne trooper or the clone commander i got 125 kills in one life with clone trooper. biggrin
