Even as the outcast i never felt alone.
I always had the feeling someone was watching over me,
secretly guiding the way. My only friends were my fists, the dirt beneath my toes and natures growth. The earth provided me food and shelter from the rain.
For some reason animals were less shy around me. I found friendship with
a mighty stag. I remember riding on his back, sleeping against his soft fur.
He'd always find me clean water to drink, and ripe fruit to eat.

Then One morning i woke up and my deer friend was gone. I got up with haste in search for him. I had nothing to call out for I had not named him.
I hear a man cry out in pain. As I rush to the source in the not so far distance I see the Stag in an offensive stance warning off 3 men.
One man lay on the ground crawling away from the him.
"You stupid beast I'll kill you!" yelled out one of the men as he and his comrades attacked the mighty stag. The stag was only bale to hold them off for a moment before being impaled in the neck.
With a mighty roar I leaped out from the bushes kicking one of the soldiers
away from the stag.
"How dare you attack a government official!"
"Do you want to die boy?" They yelled to me.
I was grabbed by the throat and held high as they laughed.
They kicked the stag in laughter.
In a desperate rage I dug my nails into his arm forcing him to let go
And lunge my open hand into his chest. Blood? gushing from his chest as I withdrew my hand. The two remaining soldiers in shock ran up a path.

I went to care for the stag. He was dying, I'm useless, their was nothing I could do. A voice in my head. The Stag's eyes directed at me with an intense look. "Become stronger.........seek your brothers.......fulfill your destiny"
"Brothers!? Destiny?" I yelled in confusion. Anger and fear that I'll forever be alone now lead me to chase after those men.
"Find your sword." The stag's voice echoed in my mind.

*Back at the village*
The two soldier arrived at the border of their village telling their captain of what happened.
"A boy you say?" Said the captain suspiciously.

As I ran through the trees in pursuit of these men I saw a light
......it was the end of the forest and i enter onto an open plain where I saw the village. Immediately the soldiers recognized me and two guards came towards me. 'Find my sword' i thought to myself.
I took out the two guards with lighting fast movements.
I burst into a rage as the rest of the soldiers attacked. Light blinded my eyes. I came to.
The captain stepped forward and uttered "The child of prophecy"
"The child of prophecy?" I wondered.
"So which one might you be hmm? Earth? light? DEATH!?"
HE lunged towards me. In anger i burst towards him with the sword I took from the guard. He drew his sword and in a savage manner I pulled mine forth. I was thrown back by his force, I did not know how to fight with a sword. I knew this was gonna be tough but I had to do this for the stag.
"Do you know what kind of sword this is huh? Its a Haruko sword, one
of the finest swords on this earth. Do you really wish to throw your life away" As he went on he told me a bit about the prophecy. He continued to talk to me as we went on. We stopped fighting and he laid his hand on my shoulder.
"That stag was protecting you because he knows that you are special.
Many bad people may not want this prophecy to be true, they may wish to kill you, NO they will come to kill you"
He offered to take me in and to teach me how to use a sword.
he had become my mentor.
"I will help you find your 'sword'"
