I can not believe this!!!
Michael went to one of the Army doctors yesterday. A few years back, he broke his ankle, and it's been giving him problems. So, he went and had it looked at yesterday. Today, I get a phone call, saying he has his "Return from Active Duty" papers in his hand, and he just has to go through out-processing.
I get another phone call a little while later, saying, "What're you doing on Friday? If what I was just told was true, I'll be home at some point on Friday."
Michael is COMING HOME. He's NOT getting shipped out. HE IS COMING HOME FOR GOOD! I am SO excited! I asked him last night. What happens to our plans? Do we do them in early next year like we wanted to? Do we do them sooner? He says sooner. Hopefully, by the end of this year, Michael and I will be married, and have a down payment on a house, and hopefully, around next February, I will be pregnant. heart heart heart heart heart heart blaugh blaugh blaugh I AM SO HAPPY.
How often does this happen!?
May I also point out...
Today is my 21st birthday. YAY FOR ME!

NOW they're saying if he follows through, they'll give him a less-than-honorable discharge, so now he's scared about what to do. I can't blame him..
but god.
I hate the military.

Raben:
I was going to ask you what his plans were. If he was going to be staying in the military or what. But I didn't think it was any of my business and I didn't want to intrude.
If he's being released for a medical reason how can they not give him an honorable (or general under honorable) discharge? & I thought for a medical discharge that one had to go through the medical evaluation board and then the physical evaluation board before you got discharged.
But, being a civilian I don't know anything and I could be completely wrong. sweatdrop

I'm so used to Michael texting me, and calling me. A lot. Well. He only texted me TWICE yesterday. Didn't call me at all. I finally called him at 10:03. He was in Walmart with one of the PA's and said he'd call me when he finished up. He didn't call me back until midnight.
He said he'd "try to call" today. He hasn't called yet. He hasn't texted. Yet, when I called his mom to speak with her about meeting up tomorrow, Michael had called HER this morning.
I know, I am lucky. Because he atleast calls, or, texts. And, I'm getting irritated with him. I'm about to say so, too. Especially after Wednesday.
I realize, most of you don't get phone calls, or texts, but Michael is STILL IN COUNTRY. And it just... I am so... UPSET.
Is this normal

Tell him that its bothering you. He may not know.
When Reggie was in AK and I was still in KS. We wouldn't really talk all that often. We'd talk usually talk least once at night but, sometimes we wouldn't ,it just depended. I was working full time, he was working and there was a three hour time difference. Sometimes both of us were just too tired to hold a conversation for longer than 5 minutes.
But, whenever either of us felt that we weren't getting enough time to talk to each other we'd tell the other.
It seems normal, he's just probably busy. Just tell him how you feel.
