Okay, i know you've all most likely have been in a fake haunted house with all those fancy smoke-and-mirror tricks and technology, but have any of you been in a real haunted house? i live in a supposedly haunted house. The guy next door that lived there last killed himself and a guy died in my grandparent's apartment. so tell me: do any of you live or have been in a real haunted house?

In the Philippines, there are a lot of haunted houses. Everyone is close knit and the houses are passed down to family and friends. It's only scary at night though.

It's really only them who decide to pay a visit..
But I love the Philippines. :D

Well when I used to live at the house I basically lived almost all my life (since I was 3 to 11, sadly I moved) I used to sleep in the same room and bed my grandmother died in.
And the house I live in now my cousins grandmother died in it...
I sleep in all the rooms they died in. (just noticing).
So cool~ 8D
No wonder I used to hear and see so many things when I was little. :]

To put a long story short, yes, I have. At least, in my own opinion.

Yes. I live in one to put it very simply.

But most houses I've been in have some sort of activity, most people just don't recognize the very subtle signs. Usually it just feels like someone else is in the home or there are creaks or taps that aren't normal for a home, creaks done happen in inner walls, unless there are pipes and such running through that wall. Outer walls are a bit more "debunkable."

Then there are the taps on furniture, like my bureau this morning. I don't touch that bureau very often. It's not hot or humid enough for wood to warp and creak, but it sounded like someone slapped the side of it this morning. Very loud tap. This morning has been very active for taps. My vampire and I are in a great mood, I think he's expressing himself audibly for me so I can hear that he's enjoying himself as much as I am.

That's along the lines of what happens to me. the person that died in my appartment likes to tap on the walls, and he slapped me one time when i didn't pay attention. i was asleep...

Yes, when I was eight. It used to be a funeral home built in the mid to late 1800's. The Morgue was in the basement as was customary in those days. It was a two-story yellow house, three if you counted the attic that was closed up,so that no one could get into it. There were a lot of rumors going around town about what was really in that attic, but my dad wouldn't let them open it. The Mortician as I call him (he latched onto me when I lived there and when I moved he followed me) haunted the basement mostly and he would only show himself to me. The basement was divided into four rooms and the autopsy room was in the largest room in the basement where you first walked down the stairs into it and that's where he was most of the time. The other three rooms were a bit more frightening to me, because those were the next two rooms where the shadow people were. The laundry room and the walk-in freezer. Then the last room was the boiler room and it terrified me because it had a very, very evil demon in that room and it couldn't leave that room there was also an angel guarding the room thus protecting the rest of the family. On the first floor of the house there was just the occassional prank being pulled by a ghost I called Megan. Sometimes my mom would mistake he for me because she said she could have been my identical twin except she was dressed in clothes from the late 1800's. On the second floor where the bedrooms were a lot of weird things happened. They mostly centered around me and my mom, sometimes things would happen to my brothers as well who toddlers at the time. Every night at midnight I would start to hear this sound like chains rattling from above my head and I remembered hearing my dad saying that the attic was located over bedroom. I was scared and I couldn't sleep, but I didn't wake up my parents so the Mortician started appearing in my room at night between 11p.m. and he would stay until I got up for school, when he started doing that the chain rattling stopped. Weird things always happened in that house, but it made me wonder whatever had been in the attic had been afraid of the Mortician. It was shortly after that that we moved to a different town I didn't think much of it, but the Mortician followed me and he has followed me ever since.
