Well it's finally up, we got a lot of stuff to do so bear with us for a while, but we can use all the help we can get. Starting conversations, displaying your work, inviting people to the guild, and donating. Everything can help us because we have never run a guild before so if you have any suggestions please tell us ^^

I'm glad to see a guild was finally made! ^^
My only beef thus far is your grammar, since it's all not proper/correct. I realize it's not a huge deal, but if you want people to be more respectful and take it more seriously, no shorthand, proper spelling, etc.
If we want to have all of these sections, may I suggest stickies for different things? Like, a links section, a finished works section, a work in progress thread, etc. Of course, I wouls suggest they only be able to be edited via mod so that people to don't go off on tangents while making comments. I have more ideas in my head, but I won't post all them here. ^^
I'm just happy we have a place! Hopefully it will work out well. biggrin

I've been exchanging.... words with PCStitch for a week now, but once my program is up and running I was planning on making some simple, original patterns to distribute all over the internet. We should make some Gaia-themed ones just for here! heart

First, I'd like to say thanks for inviting me here! ^^ That was a nice surprise!
Second, I think it's great that there is a guild for the cross-stitchers out ther and I look forward to talking with all you members! ^^
I'll have to dig up some of the things I've completed and post the pics.

Welcome everybody! Isn't it exciting to finally have a guild (Thanks kaira-sora16! *hugs*)?! lol, I'm such a nerd. Anyway, I have class till about 4:30 today so I won't be here till later. But I am very interested in ideas people have for stickies, etc. Anything to make people getting info and sharing ideas more streamlined.
Now get stitching people so I can see your work! (why, oh why, don't we have a whip emoticon? twisted )

Hello, thanks for inviting me in wink Also a surprise since it was ages ago that I posted in any cross stitch forum. How lucky for me that I did smile I'll admit that I don't cross stich much currently, but I have been getting that itch again. If anything this will be good inspiration.
I've also been much more of a lurker then not for a ong while, life makes me do a lot of other things with my spare time. But I'll post when I can, help when I can, encourage when I can.

Welcome Moira! Hopefully this will help you get back in the stitching groove wink And I'm glad you decided to join!
And I know all about being super busy with life, I'm trying to finish up my last few semester of my bachelor's. It's great to have someone who can commiserate with the craziness and lack of spare time biggrin

Yea, full time job and pet rats. Demanding little creatures wanting time out of their cages wink . No active comp or cable ready tv set up in rat/ craft room, but I get a lot of reading and craft planning and crafting done. I honestly don't stitch that much cause I don't get much time to sit and watch tv. I find it too boring unfortunately to just sit and listen to the radio and stitch.
But as I said, esp with winter coming here, I'm more likey to curl up and stitch, or crochet or such and my tigers, angel, geisha and such are tired of just sitting around smile or if I can't find all the bits that means I get to get yet another, right smile
oh well, have fun all

well looks like everyone is a lot older than me. im only 15 and i have to get a job soon. it will probably working for my dad, he owns a Save-A-Lot. i dont like grosherys crying
o well, anyway hows everyone? im glad the guild is started but theres not realy that much activity. im thinking of ofering 50G to any of the mimbers if they invite someone to join. what do you think?

I think that would be a bad idea, because it would encourage people to join for the wrong reasons, or invite people that really wouldn't want to be in the guild. I'm not sure what the status of all the guilds means exactly, but why is this one hidden? If it were public wouldn't it be easier for people to find?
