Just Dreams
While away, I dream of you
Of you and I together
Of millions of different futures
The many paths that are possible
In some, it's a reuniting
After a time of large distance
In some, it's worded thoughts
Of the intensely passionate love we share
And in some, it's our time alone
Uninterupted and free to the unknown
These dreams become memories
Which in turn become hopes
That the love we share now
Will continue to deepen
But I can't tell you this
Because of your current fear
So I'll write the dreams
For all to see and never know
In hopes that one day
I can tell my dreams to you
