The magazines ruffled thin paper feathers as the breeze swept down the street, bringing a paper bag to life, sending it dancing down 17th Street. Minty glanced down at the magazines, green fur that was her namesake ruffled slightly in the same breeze. She stared down the unfamiliar street, alone and feeling the teeniest bit of fear. Another stronger breeze came through, knocking more papers from opened trash cans. Suddenly, a green flash by her ear. Minty duckd, and when she opened her eyes again, she realized that her green bow, the one she wore at the base of her tail was flapping awkwardly down the street. She gave a small cry of alarm, and began to chase after it

Another Bandit felt the breeze too. He actually enjoyed watching the dancing paper bags flying by. His fur moved in the breeze which was slowly growing stronger. He loved the feeling of the wind going through his dark red fur. He didn't mind the wind getting stronger at all. He was quite used to this place now and loved roaming around the street. He suddenly saw something flying by, something green? Addy decided to try and catch it whatever it turned out to be. He didn't really see the other Bandit yet. "I have the feeling someone else is nearby" said Addy while still following the green bow.

Minty saw the other Bandit, who looked to be wearing shorts dart in front of her after her bow. -Oh no!- She thought, picking up speed to catch her precious ribbon. -Will he keep it? I can't let him have it!- She tried to call out for him to stop, but her breath was catching from running, and she do nothing but keep running.

Addy now saw the other Bandit behind him clearly running after the ribbon. He quickly jumped forward and grabbed the ribbon. He didn't want to see the ribbon to fly away completely. He holds the ribbon firmly in his paws to make sure it doesn't fly of again. He turned to the female and said "I bet this ribbon is yours?" he smiled at her and added friendly "It looks like this ribbon would look really nice on you anyway."

She skidded to a stop as the other Bandit caught the ribbon, dispair turning to happiness as he turned and spoke to her. "Yes." She said breathlessly, blushing slghtly beneath her green fur "Thats mine. Thank you for catching it for me. The wind carried away."

"You are very welcome." Addy replied while still smiling. He knew things flew of often around here. He was happy he could help someone. Someone really cute too! "You don't seem to be from around here, are you? Never seen you before." He stretched his paw at her to give her back the green ribbon. "Here you go and before I forget, my name is Addy" he nodded "and what is your name?"

SHe reached out to take the ribbon, saying "Thank you." before quickly tying it back around the base of her tail. "Your, right, I am not from around here. This is my first day." She looked around, and said "My name is Minty. It's nice to meet you."

"Really nice to meet you too Minty." He knew he never saw her before and it seemed he was right. "And how do you like your first day here?" He asked and looked at her a bit worried. "You don't really seem to be enjoying it here." Maybe she didn't like the stronger wind or maybe she didn't like new places as much as he normally did.

"Oh! It's not that I don't like it here. I do! It's just..." She paused a moment, looking down at the ground, swirling a piece of paper on the ground. "It's just...I am alone. It's lonely here when there is no one around..." Her voice trailed off with an embarrassed slience following.

Addy smiled at her and happily said "You're not alone now!" he hoped he didn't scare her of so suddenly but continued. "I can keep you company for now so you don't have to be lonely" Addy loved company from other Bandits. He always tried to be friendly and polite to others.

Minty smiled "I would love the company." She said, happy again. Looking around the bright, unfamiliar road, she asked. "So how long have you ben here? How many Bandits actually live here?"

"There are lots of Bandits living nearby including me." How long did he live here? He wasn't really sure anymore and replied "I don't really know how long I've been here. Quite some time I believe." He had alot of friends living around the place. He knew Butterfly was living close to these streets. "I have a friend with little ones living nearby. She is really protective of them right now." Addy laughed after saying that.

Her voice took on a blissful tone, "Little ones?" She said, smiling "How wonderful" Still smiling, she said "well, I am going to be living nearby as well for a while. Maybe I will get to meet all of these Bandits eventually."

"Yes, I'm sure you're going to meet most of them if you stay around for a bit." Addy was really happy to see a new face here and hearing she was going to live nearby for a while made it even better. Happily waving his tail he said "Welcome to this place Minty. I'm sure you'll like it when you get used to the place." Addy himself loved it here.

"I am sure I will." SHe said, smiling, "But before I can get used to the place, where can we get something to eat? I haven't munched on something in who knows how long!" Her green and white tail twiched in anticiapation of food.
