The Tetra Valley is one of the main sources of energy for the Scian empire that lies directly beside the empire's gates. Within the valley flows large amounts of magical energy of four different forms: electric, glacial, thermal, and seismic. The empire uses these to help harness the magical barriers that align the gates and help keep the empire safe from any attempts from the rebellion.

In the Carperian mountains a few miles North of the Alasion Glazer Lays the small remnants of outlaws, fighters for what they think is right. Not mainly to start a war against the Scian Empire warriors let alone their ruler.
Mainy had tried to break through the barrier, some say the barrier is a magical force field others a mystery to be over looked. Not many dared to leave the safety of the caves. It's too dangerious to leave the shadows to wander into the light where you could be seen by anything from the Kingdom of Sciara.
