Owners are responsible for their own journals. If you don't (or do) want someone posting in it, you'd best state that explicitly somewhere in your journal.

You're encouraged to keep journals, but not required. In-journal RP is also encouraged! Though it's totally up to the journal owner.

If you just want to use a thread to show off your schmancy pets, you can do that too!
