It has recently come to my attention that I have yet to have any sort of love interest in my life. None! I'm 18 now, and I can say I have never been in "love" with another person. I've had sex, but not love. I find this to be quite weird, and if I think that it's weird I can only imagine what most normal people would think. So, I've come to the place of all knowledge: The Internet! and this group of people seem to have semi-coherent thought patterns.
Thoughts, opinions, and/or ideas?

If you havn't felt love for this long, then when you find it, it will be more spectacular than anything in the world.

well, first off i would have to ask,
have you ever been in love(not mean)?
because if you havent been in love but have had sex, it would be alot harder for you to feel or know what it is like.

I believe in loving myself some first, then love another. That is how it works for me. Love includes not being abusive, manipulative, demeaning, or humiliating. Love is caring, friendship, compassion, giving, receiving, and honest.

DearSX I believe in loving myself some first, then love another. That is how it works for me. Love includes not being abusive, manipulative, demeaning, or humiliating. Love is caring, friendship, compassion, giving, receiving, and honest. Love is a state, not the product of expression. It does not require behaviour but rather informs it.

Personally I no longer believe in "Love". This is due to how things really go in this society. Over 50% of the population divorces, people have said I love you to me but ultimately cheated on me. I said I loved someone in February, but they betrayed me, bringing a strong hatred. I may only be 14 but throughout my life I've seen things and been a part of things no one should have to. But I decided. We all die, don't we?
